Food was ok, good for a healthy casual meal. The mushroom toast was the best thing we had. Service was good and their outdoor space is quite nice.
The food here is delicious, nourishing, and pretty nutritious/healthy. The vibe is relaxed and cool.
Nice environment and daring food combinations that work sometimes, but are just kindof off at others. The ginger and mushroom combination in the earth tacos clashed hard. I had a bean bowl with avocado and black rice which was good but the beans were really out of proportion and it was like a cold black bean soup.
Innovative takes on the classics. Don't forget the superbly crafted cocktails. COVID-19 safe outside seating. Thoughtful service.
Dimes is a rare restaurant/institution that consistently delivers complex flavors, healthy foods and playful design. It is one of the hippest restaurants in many ways and I relish in all of the meals I’ve enjoyed there. Menu items I choose are consistently changing with the seasons so it’s harder to recommend specific items.
Came here for brunch and loved the causal atmosphere. The staff was friendly and prompt. Food was good, everything is relatively healthy. The serving sizes were a little small for the price but other than that it was delicious!
Speedy service. Excellent waiter. Curbside seating was phenomenal. I had the pickled eggs, along with the breakfast sandwich. Both were savory! Lovely experience on a Wednesday afternoon.
Amazing little hole-in-the-wall place on Canal Street. Loved the ambience and the food was awesome. Came across this place on multiple lists for best breakfast / brunch places in the city, and I quite agree. Prices are quite affordable too.
I had a reservation but they never checked or asked us about it, the guy just pointed to the seats. The food was yummy tho, those were the only dishes that called our attention. The drinks were ok, the mulled wine could've been better.
