Dinara is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly wants to help her patients. I go to her for acupuncture and I am very pleased with her unique approach to my treatment. Also, she often looks for new ways to help her patients by keeping up to date with research and new treatment methods. Her office is soothing, pleasant, and induces calm. Her manner of communicating, via phone or email, is very convenient; and I always receive a prompt response from her. She gives appointment reminders via email, and is mindful of your needs when scheduling your appointments. Dinara is respectful, always attentive, and a good listener. She always helps me navigate different areas, such as nutrition, exercise, and self-care. I always leave my sessions with her with a sense of wellness knowing that the treatment I received was tailor made for me. I must admit I was skeptical before having acupuncture. I wondered if it could provide relief for my chronic migraines ... but the fact is it unequivocally it worked for me. Additionally, when I went in for my first treatment I was also dealing with stress and insomnia as a result of a recent trauma associate with racial profiling. I was referred to Dinara after several colleagues recommended her after seeing how debilitating my migraines were becoming. During my first visit I was please by the consultation she provided. She want to know me as a person not just the symptom I was seeing her for. She has a great bedside manner, is professional, warm, non-judgmental and genuinely interested in the whole you. She take really detailed notes and asks a lot of questions not for the sake of up-selling you or anything but for ensuring she provides holistic care. I was pleased when I schedule my subsequent visits that she refers to those notes in follow-up sessions. For example, she knew my cycle better than I did and provided me tips and treatment to reduce my PMS and cramping. I've never seen a doctor so engaged in patient care. Period. In terms of my treatment I had never had acupuncture but had prior experience with dry needling which I didn't enjoy to say the least. She explained the process and was really attentive by making sure I was comfortable through the entire experience. I was AMAZED as I began noticing DRAMATIC improvement almost immediately, I felt a sense of calmness and almost euphoria following my treatment. This important for me to share because I work in a rather demanding position in downtown DC and her office is blocks from my office. I walked in stress and walked back to work with a sense of calmness even amid the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Also within a week or so, sleeping better and my migraines began to subside. My partner was extremely interested in receiving treatment as well and he also received acupuncture and cupping treatment which resulted also in almost immediate symptom remedy. I recommend her to anyone seeking treatment for migraines and insomnia but also other conditions. A strong plus is that my insurance covers my treatments and I'm only responsible for my co-pay.
