Average diner with average food. The burger was ok, but the fries was awful. The Choripan was the highlight of the lunch. Surprisingly they serve good French wine from the south and typical Black Forest pils. We had to wait quite sometime for our food.Food: 3/5
I'll start with the highlight: the delicious chicken and Caesar salad. The entire menu description was superb, very detailed, making you feel like you're envisioning each dish. The waitress who served us was very attentive. The mussels with fries were a disappointment. The fries seemed to be leftovers from the fryer—small, soggy, and quite frankly, unpleasant. They might have even been old. The restaurant closes at 11 pm, but by 10 pm, the waitstaff seemed disengaged, already preoccupied with closing duties, which made us feel uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty. I wouldn't bring up any of these issues if the bill had been under $150, but it was almost double that.
Lovely neighbourhood spot if you crave some delicious home-cooked food. The pricing is honest and fair, and we had a good time when coming for brunch on Sunday. We had the zucchini omelette and chorizo sausage with black beans, and both dishes were very tasty. I’ll be back! Vegetarian options: The menu is changing frequently but they always have 1-2 vegetarian mains and starters. I can recommend the zucchini omelette.
Delighted by this restaurant on my first visit. Everything ordered was mouthwatering delicious, including the cocktails.Food: 5/5
Always a treat for large groups. Just did an intimate dinner for 11. Joshua our server made it so easy to order just the right amount of food and we basically ordered the entire menu and shared. 10/10 would recommend.
Allegedly the best burger in NYC. red onions aren’t my thing - so I did remove them. The lettuce was cold and crisp. Burger was rich and juicy as what you would expect from grass fed beef. Cheese was expertly melted. Bun was soft complimented the ingredients. It doesn’t try and over complicate a burger it just delivers the best ingredients , well seasoned. I had mine medium rare , and I think that’s the correct temperature. If you love hamburgers it’s worth trying , if you find a better one please let me know.
Good food, great service and lovely outdoor seating! Love it when the servers are so friendly and smiling ! The caeser salad was deliciously cheesy and crunchy, both the grass-fed burger and chicken were wholesome too! The sea bass was so-so but no complaints! The drinks were strong too which makes them worth the price.
Good atmosphere and nice IPA on draft. The service was pretty bad though. We understand that young waiters want to act cool but being arrogant is not the way to go. Spoils all the fun for guests.Food: 3/5
A must go when in Williamsburg! Very charming restaurant with friendly and kind staff, the menu is relatively small but all options are amazing and well priced. I would definitely recommend the burger, probably the must have dish: generous, juicy and tasty! Why not share the Caesar salad on the side, it could also be taken as a light main as it is pretty consistent. Chilled vibes and good food, can’t get better than that :
Got the burger, total about $32. Burger was nothing special. I'd give it a 7/10. Fries were good though.Food: 3/5
