Went here with a friend for brunch. We arrive at 12pm right when it opened. I’d suggest arriving a bit later as it was empty when we sat down. Staff was friendly and service was great. The food came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The steak was cooked perfectly and the soup was ideal for a rough night prior. The chicken wings were not your typical wings you’d expect - the dish was small pieces of friend chicken both on and off the bone.
This place is AMAZING!! Must come on Saturdays for the live music. The drinks and foods was fantastic. We must have gone through 5 pitches of caipirinha. Pitchers are $55. Prices for the food and drinks all seem pretty reasonable for Brooklyn. They are also located a block from the river so you can take a break from dancing and hit the nearby park. I will definitely be retuning next time I am in Brooklyn
Great empanadas!!! Drink and service is always amazing, just we ordered appetizers. This is one of my favorite place in Brooklyn for get drink and fun times with friends.. Don’t forget order caipirinha pitcher.. they only accept cash paymentDine in: Yes
The food was amazing. The service was alright, and the atmosphere wasn't too excited Parking: No parking area.. Hard to find
It gets so crowded on Saturday afternoons. Good people, amazing samba music, delicious Brazilian food! The drinks are way too sweet.
If you are looking for a place to try Brazilian food, skip this place - terrible service; the picanha will come always well-done regardless how many times you need to order to be pink and it is not that good. But if you are seeking for live samba music, Brazilian overpriced caipirinhas and don’t mind to be in a very packed place that you can barely order drinks, use the bathroom or move from your table to anywhere that’s the place. Don’t go with a big group - we were in 10 and it took 2h and half to get our lunch. As they are famous for the great music and there is always a lot of people, they don’t do any effort to serve you or treat you well.
Kris and I came here for dinner on Sunday 11/20/22 and let me tell you… It was great! This was our first time at Miss Favela and will be coming back. Chef William and his partner stopped by our table and talked with us. We started with the calabrasa appetizer, then we had the garlic shrimp appetizer and the picanha fatiada. It was 10/10. The quality of the food was fantastic and reminded me of Brazil. If you are looking for an authentic Brazilian experience, come to Miss Favela. On Saturdays they have pagode and forró no domingo. We also had beer from Brazil and “one of the best pudim de leite” Kris ever had.
If you want to eat at this place I would say do it in a Sunday afternoon , there’s live music and it’s not too crowded. Overall food was good , just a little loud. The caipiriñas are strong. Loved it !
The place is super pretty and very representative of the the culture! Super great energy and great food ! The service was great! Buttttt the drink were even better !
Don’t ever ever ever go to place!!!!! Went there today and ordered a couple of appetizers. Told them the sausage wasn’t well cooked and I guess they got mad at me. I asked these to go and it came with a huge surprise: A ROACH!!!!!! This place should be closed down!!!!!!!!!! This is extremely dangerous!!!! I’m so upset right now! Please be very careful if going to this place! On do not go!!!!!
