We have tried the restaurant during DC restaurant week. We had an early reservation @ 6:00pm practically the first people in. The services started great. The same as the beautiful food presentation. However the food itself was NICE done get me wrong, it was nice but nothing to die for But I want to give a lot of credit for the presentation of the food and drinks! Perfect for a date night or hanging out with the friends. Do not expect the get blown away with the food taste at least with the restaurant week menu but definitely will go back to try the full menu. I also wish we were told there were other cocktail options than the three on the restaurant week menu.
I enjoyed my experience at The Mayflower Club. I must say the place is very beautiful inside!!!! During the time I went there was a little delay in being seated due to filming a show inside. My food was great but my friend’s salmon was dry. Service was a little slow as well.
I was doubtful with the seemingly low score. But food and service was incredible! It was restaurant week and the course menu was $40 for 3 courses which wasn't bad at all!!! The smoke drink was about $20ish which is a lot, but the presentation and flavors were kinda worth it.Food: 5/5
I personally had a really great time here! We did come at a time where it was not extremely busy. We tried all of their specialty cocktails which were all delicious and had just the right amount of alcohol to get you where you need to be. The service was wonderful as our server was very nice and attentive. She answered all of our questions including those about the restaurant in general. We ate downstairs and got to go upstairs to view the rest of the restaurant which is beautiful. They were quick to clean our tables and ask if we needed anything. We did not try a lot of food. Our appetizer mussels were very good and a nice portion size. The peri peri chicken was too small in my opinion to be a shared plate. Our dessert was delicious and paired well with the final cocktail. We saw other food come out as they are definitely a show stoppy type of place. Other dishes looked delicious and like they were a good portion size. Would love to go back and try more food.
I went to Mayflower Club with two friends for restaurant week this year. The menu was a $55 fixed price three course meal, and for that price, the food was delicious. Drinks were quite pricey, and just from looking at the a la carte menu—I don’t know if I would recommend Mayflower Club at the usual prices. It seems like they upcharge for the experience and ambiance a little bit, like a fancy steakhouse. I think you can get food that is just as good for lower prices at other nearby restaurants. The service was pretty good but not great—a long wait for drinks. Separately, be aware that they will charge you a $15/person cancellation fee for your reservation if your entire party is not there on time. That said, everything we ate was delicious.
Saw this resturant in TikTok and I had to try it for myself while I was in the city for a couple of days. I loved the vibe of this place! Such an aesthetic. I ordered the Mayflower Spritz which was very good! I ordered truffle fries because i order them everywhere I go, and they were delicious. As an entree I got the salmon and my friend ordered the lamb. The lemon sauce that goes with the salmon was delicious! And the Brussel sprouts paired well. My friend enjoyed her lamb! Back in the day this place was the Dirty Martini and I really love the new changes! Also check out my review on TikTok @amazinggav
The restaurant and its ambiance were beautiful! The pink/purple lighting and decor was very visually appealing. The menu options are unique but a bit limited. My charred branzino was missing the char and my drink was not blended well. My server had a limited English vocabulary so that led to a language barrier and ultimately a disconnect in the service delivered....
Its in a great part of town, close to shops, hotels and restaurants. Nicely decorated. Attended a work party which had a lot of people so it was a bit crowded. Overall it’s a fancy place with amazing drinks, good food and staff. Would go there again.Recommended dishesLangostino, Charred Branzino, Cheese & Charcuterie, Lamb Slider, Pear Arugula Salad, Seafood Tower, Cabernet Sauvignon
The décor and ambiance at this restaurant is very nice. It’s a great date night spot! It’s also a club. We came on a Saturday evening for dinner. We had a reservation and was seated very quickly. I ordered the Cherry Blossom Margarita, it was delicious. We decided to get the Halloumi Fries appetizer. It was okay. I’m not a huge fan of the Halloumi cheese and did not like the taste and texture much. For our main entrée, we ordered the Mixed Grill for 2. This dish was amazing and extremely filling. We could not finish it all. I highly recommend it! The meat was super tender and tasty and the prawns were nicely grilled. They do give you a lot of fries. The service we received was very good. We were extremely pleased.
Amazing food and decor. We had the best time there last weekend. The music, the staff, everything was great. I can’t wait to come back for another seafood tower
