This is one terrific store. I expected a kind of a typical convenience store, but this store has all kinds of diverse and healthy products. It also has a great vibe. Mahmood, the proprietor, says he has run the store for 21 years and hails from Iran. He has a very easy and welcoming manner with his customers and is a wonderful host. The store is set in the really fascinating Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans. Closer to the river, it is all seawall and wharves and warehouses with, also, a couple of fascinating discount furniture or household warehouses with fabulous murals - but just a little farther away from the water, on Magazine Street, it is funky cafés and a Starbucks. I recommend the store very highly.
Clean and easy to locate. Good gas price.
Asked for a carton of smokes and the attendant came from behind the bullet proof glass and asked if I had the money to pay. Really, can't wait to get out of this neighborhood
This place is horrible I left without buying anything The owner didn't know what she sold, even after I pointed it out to her AND she asked me three times what I wanted. The customers were all getting agitated - I was sorry I wasted my time stopping there. I WOULD WARN ANYONE TO GO SOME WHERE ELSE ‼
Always impressed at how indiscriminately kind they are to everyone. Also, we call this the “everything store”. If you need something, they probably have it except booze, but that’s fine. During Covid, they were one of the first places requiring masks, first gas stations to regularly clean the pumps, etc... considerate.
Quite impressed with the selection of items available at this 24 hour spot -- from snacks and milk to tools and just about anything you might need at an hour of the day. They also take EBT, which is great for picking up essentials.
I have no problems when I go there the people are nice
Took way to long to ring out. Stood in line over 10 mins for a drink.
Great location. Starbucks across the street. The neighborhood around it is safe.
There is very much drink here like wine, vodca, beer, etc. But not too much food and water.
