Stopped in to get our 2 year brake tag, took all of 2 minutes. The guy was super nice, helped scrape our own stickers off the windshield. $50 for 2 years, cash only.
I like this place. If 3 is average, then 4 star is above average. I've used them twice for brake tags, never have gotten gas here. I don't have a strong opinion about them but I like them. The wait in the late morning is 10 minutes maybe 1 or 2 cars before me. It was hot and so the car waiting is not in the shade. When you pull up, he's pretty quick standard front head lights, reverse lights, signals x2, etc. So if you need a brake tag, I've gone here Uptown, NO East x2, Lakeview x1 although they are stricter, and in Midcity x3 but I think they closed back in 2020/21.
They just renovated the inside of the store and it seems like they sell $ a bunch of different kinds of stuff now. They have a tire service too.
The break tag guy was extremely prompt and efficient. In and out in no time .
I got my brake tags/state inspection done here and it was super fast! Get here early, follow the signs for the brake tags services next to the median by the street opposite the gas station; there are cones, and have your money ready. Brake tag service attendant only takes cash!
My first experience getting a brake tag and it was quick and painless. I arrived at 945am on a Saturday, pulled right up to the brake tag lane on the right side of the station and was instantly helped. Within 10 minutes I had paid cash only and was on my way with a new tag good for one year $25.
I purchased a used tire here. I drove 1.6 miles home, parked the car, and didn't drive it for about 36 hours. When I went out in the morning, the new tire from Delta was flat. The owner refused to refund the money for the tire. Though he wasn't obligated to, any ethical business owner would have done this. Do not frequent this business unless you're prepared to be ripped off and treated rudely.
Great location. Courteous staff. Good prices for good quality merchandise/fuel.
Patronizing clerk asked if I was old enough to get a brake tag. Update* Misogynistic owner would rather victim blame than genuinely apologize for his staff unprofessional behavior
I went here for brake tags and they were terribly rude to me. I left and went to Magic Bubbles where they were lovely. Don't bother with this place.
