Nice and cosy place. Servers are sweet. Most of the item in the menu is good. We tried crispy honey shrimp dim sum, juicy pork dim sum, pork noodles, egg fried rice. Cocktails are good too. Good serving quantity.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Soup-filled dumplings are so fun to eat and delicious. Great lunch specials, we were stuffed. Things seemed prepared to order. We also tried Mango Nigori Sake, which was sweet but very tasty.
Finding parking was a bit tricky but very nice experience here. We had a reservation and seated promptly. Server was friendly but didn't check on us many times throughout the night. We got a mocktail mint berry lime and an espresso martini. We started with scallion pancakes. Wanted to try the pork dumplings and the XXL dumpling. Our main dishes were general Gao chicken and beef brisket noodles. Would definitely recommend the general Gao chicken and pork dumplings!!
I think this is going to be the first time I leave a 2 star review. I did a takeaway and got 2 lunch rice special but didn't come with rice. It was a rip off given that the total cost of the meal was $28 and the website mentioned it was a rice dish. FYI - I ordered on their website. I even double checked on the receipt stapled to the bag to verify if it was my mistake. Also, the portions are tiny. You can take a look at the pictures and judge yourselves. I had a bad experience with their customer service last year with another takeout rude front staff. This experience just confirms I'm not coming back here again which is a shame given that their food is usually tasty hence the 2 stars.
Great place and my usual go-to! I love their Vietnamese coffee! My fav veg options are Spicy Edamame and Egg Fried Rice. I like their Jasmine tea too. Wonderful customer service.
The food here is so good! I came here with two other people. The wait was not long, very kinda waiter as well!! I got the vegetable dumplings and crab Rangoon. The Rangoon’s were maybe the best I’ve ever had Definitely coming again!
What an experience! The food was exceptional, but what fascinated our experience was the service. Daniel and Phoebe greeted us with a warm welcome, and although we did not make any reservations, they were able to sit us down at a recently open table. This is not your typical Asian cuisine restaurant. The food is very authentic. Seeing the chef from the bar side adds a unique vibe to the environment. Daniel was kind enough to guide us through the menu and make some recommendations based on the style we were looking for. We loved our experience so much we came back with our family the very next day.
We tried the lychee martini, Dan Dan noodle, Sichuan crispy chicken, and xxl xiao long bao. You can tell the dumpling dough is homemade. Our favorite dish was the crunchy chicken.
I ordered the black bean paste noodles. At first I thought there was very little sauce but as I mixed it, the sauce coated all the noodles very nicely. The cucumbers I thought were cut a little too large. It would have paired much ni nicely if the cucumbers were cut in a similar width to the noodles as it usually is. I enjoyed the noodles very much until I noticed there was dried rice stuck to the plate. I had no rice in my dish, so evidently I got a dirty plate. I'm really disappointed - a dirty plate at a restaurant is never okay.
