Sun Kong never disappoints! It's one of the best spots for Chinese dim sum in Boston. The food is always fresh and hot. Just be ready for a wait on weekends - we waited about 30 minutes. The service is quick, and they have an English menu. Our favorites include the steamed pork rolls, sweet egg yolk bun, shrimp rice rolls, chicken sticky rice, and salted egg buns. Delicious every time!
All the food is great! I highly recommend stir-fried asparagus with diced beef with black pepper. It’s very delicious! Everything is quickly sent to the table, and even they are still steaming. The waiter was polite and asked about the dishes many times, helping us divide the fish soup and change the plate. It‘s perfect. If you try, you will like it here.
All dim sum here are SO GOOD! We ordered 13 different things for a group of 5 and everything tasted so good!!! Highly recommend their . I personally don’t eat chicken feet but my husband said it was very tasty. Forgot to order egg tarts! Heard that they are great too! Parking: They have some parking spots but we came on Sunday around 12:30 and it was crowded. We had a park two blocks away which wasn’t bad.
EASILY some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, for a fraction of what I’ve paid for worse food. As soon as I walked in I was like “it smells delicious in here.” The beef & broccoli was the best I’ve ever had. It’s a standard takeout dish, but unlike other places, this was actually beefy and savory, the broccoli was fresh with a nice bite to it, and the sauce wasn’t gluggy. The salt & pepper shrimp was umami, gingery and had all those peppery notes you hope for. It was also still crispy when I arrived home. I will definitely be back for their dim sum.
We came in half hr before closing but they let us dine anyways. Service is still better than most other Chinese restaurants. They are pretty quick and are always around if you need to ask for something. I also enjoy their dim sum as well. If you're a fan of seafood, they do have specials sometimes like fresh lobsters, oysters, conch.Food: 4/5
Our favorites were the stuffed taro the best I've had in a long long time, the stuffed eggplant, pineapple buns the best we've had, tripe crunchy and great flavors, and OMG the seafood congee was awesome seafood was super fresh!. Pretty good service, especially for a Chinese restaurant! Nothing was bad but some of the dishes we could have skipped were the shrimp and pork dumplings, turnip cakes, short ribs, durian pies, and the shark fin and pork dumplings.
Food is great for dim sum. You get to choose your order on a sheet and they bring it out. They have a photo menu as well to make life easy.Food: 5/5
Great food! I love that a lot, tastes great and I don’t have to wait. I ordered several dishes and takeaway whatever left. I will definitely visit again! Parking: Very small parking lots.
