Was not the best tried to explain to my worker a complicated situation when I saw her and was shot down completely. A situation where the courts are involved . She is the worst uncaring person I have ever met in my life. Everything is about her no companion for others or they need. To her me and my daughter are just pay check for her survival

I am living in a new development called Victory Square Senior Apartments which is privately owned, but inspected by the DC Housing Authority. When I signed my lease on August 15, 2013, I found that the apartment was dirty with dead bugs, broken electrical socket, faulty refrigerator, broken sprinkler head, leaky living room windows, infestation of Aradidae bugs, carpet tact sticking up through carpet, leaking tub spout. The apartment had passed inspection with all these conditions existing. Then there were errors and typos in my lease agreement. which was never corrected. Then less than a month I began to become ill, with sore throat, irritated eyes, cough, chills, headache, joint pains, ear pains, dry skin, rashes, loss of hair and eyelashes, nosebleeds, fatigue, dental problems, swelling, balance and mobility problems, and severe weakness. Then the heat pump would not produce heat to heat the unit. I almost froze to death in here. I had to use my oven to take the freeze off my apartment. What has actually happened here is that the building was built using unskilled workers, unsupervised work was done, and uninspected work was passed instead of failing it. This is how the DCRA seems to work. More than likely someone got paid off to pass failing and poorly performed work. The building now suffers from constant water intrusions from windows, doors, walls, and floors. There are drafty rooms, bulking carpet, unfinished subflooring, air infiltration from around doors, windows, air vents, light sockets, exhaust units in kitchens and bathrooms. The common areas are infested with flies, gnats, mosquitoes, bees and anything else that is flying. Yet the housing authority comes out and interrupt with a so-called "Unit Inspection" with passes with flying colors. Let me not to forget to mention the number of tenants who have died! There have been so many innocent people who moved here thinking they were moving to a new decent, safe, and sanitary dwelling. Your health will be RUINED! You will find yourself living in a Rehab facility trying to get your health back! There are additional videos on "Youtube" about the actual living conditions that have existed at Victory Square Senior Apartments, located at 600 Barnes Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20019! I don't trust any of the new housing that is being built!

I don't know who I'm about to reach out to but this has happen to me 2 times. My specialist is a life she said she mail my rent determination letter back in March well apparently it never got mailed. Now I have to pay back rent because she didn't mail my letter. On top of that she was being extra nice to me. Her Supervisor wouldn't even come out to talk to me. They are all working together if I could reach the owners of housing there would be a lot of people fired. They don't do what they are suppose to do and I have caught her mess. As soon as I get the chance I will find out who I can talk to over top of her supervisor to find out the truth.
