DC Thai is a casual establishment serving a variety of Thai dishes at competitive prices. The food is fine, but nothing to write home about. Our service could have been a little better since there weren't many people in the restaurant. I would consider it a better lunch pick than for dinner.
The duck curry is one of the best curries I've ever had. It's for dinner only.
I attempted to take 3 young American girls to a Tai restaurant expecting disaster. Even the pickiest of the three enjoyed all the dishes. We will return before the end of our vacation for another sampling of the menus! Good job on the food...
If you love good Thai food stay away in droves. The chicken satay sticks were like chicken jerky, the salad, a bowl of ice burg lettuce was just that, the Pad See You, or whatever, was tired, lifeless, and made me wish it was even more tasteless. And, and, the place smells bad, like call the health department bad. Word.
Very good Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, with quick service and generous portions. Ate at the restaurant, was a little dark and the smell of the kitchen permeated the dining area and not in a very pleasant way.
On the menu: pad Woon sen, pad see eiw, dupont chicken. Holy delicious. And my hubby is Thai, so to win points in his book is a good thing. Totally unassuming - we didn't plan to come here. We were going to just hit up Corner Bakery for a quick dinner, but it was closed. So glad it was...this dinner was fantastic! Flavorful, not too heavy and for a family of 5, $55 total plus we have some to take back to the hotel. Definitely will come back if we're this way again.
Great place for lunch. The food is delicious. Always friendly and efficient staff. If you order take-out they have it ready shortly and packed perfectly.
Good lunch option. They have specials but I do not recommend there lemon grass soup. They do get busy and that reflected on the slow service. 4/5
Had the drunken noodles with tofu and it was delicious! Tofu were big juicy chunks. The drunken noodles weren't as spicy as they made it seem but it was perfect.
Absolutely no flavors in 4 of the 5 dishes we ordered based on their recommendations..dishes we are very familiar with.. Great service though.. :- An off day?
