Nice Asian cuisine covering a lot of different areas. The yellow curry was super creamy, little spice but extremely warming. Hong Kong pork was great, sweet pork and stuff noodles. Couldn't even get a pic of the mango sticky rice, didn't last long enough for picture.
Stopped by for late lunch. Ordered Edamame, Green Curry Chicken with rice, Roasted Pork Rice Noodle soup and Sticky Rice with Mango. The green curry sauce was one of the best I've ever had and the chicken was tender. The roasted pork soup and the sticky rice mango were delicious as well. Service was friendly and proficient. The reason for 4 star vs 5 is because of the interior atmosphere, which is in need of of some tlc such as repair & paint the water damaged window sill. Features: Considering DC had removed indoor mask mandate, staff were wearing mask.
Ordered soy sauce chicken with rice, red curry, pho chin and HK duck noodles, and spring roll for $70. The not-so-good: the chicken is dry, the sauce is a far cry from what you’d find in Hong Kong or a Southeast Asian place; the duck noodles were stuck together in a giant unappetizing blob; the pho had very dry beef and mild flavor. The good: the red curry was decent, and the duck noodle soup was quite good.
It is just ok, not bad food but just kind of forgettable. It taste just ok nothing outstanding, I wouldn't come back, I think I prefer try other place. Service is ok. And the food if you are starving they will give you the food fast, but I think is because they have already cook majority of it, which compromise flavor, just keep in mind you are eating fast food Vietnamese. I think that's is why I personally didn't enjoyed it. There are places which prepare things fresh at the moment.
The food was really good however the Pho Tai which I ordered a wish was a bit more substantial. We sat outside and as one might expect when you sit outside and a major city like Washington DC you may experience some uniquely interesting characters walking by. Also DC still has a rat problem and even though the restaurant did not have any rodents the restaurant right next door I saw a giant small dog size rat run from the sidewalk and disappear into their outdoor seating area. It wasn't the most expensive place and it wasn't the cheapest either it was about $16 for a dinner size bowl. All in all I would go back there again and I would recommend it if you're in the area. In fact we had just come from the National Book Festival at the convention center so if you are coming from the convention center this would be a good place to grab a bite to eat.
Had lunch here and it was amazing! We ordered shrimp spring rolls, green chicken curry, and pho tai. It all had great flavor and the portions were big! We also ordered hot tea - so good! If we were residents of DC we would be here at least once a week. Yum!!
After walking for 3hrs in Washington DC, I found this amazing place! Cozy, friendly staff and amazing food. I love it
Stopped here for a quick bite..got the chicken tacos and wonton. They were decent but nothing too fantastic
Quaint atmosphere, friendly staff. Steamed dumplings we're very good, a little on the pricier side for 4 but the dipping sauce was amazing. The pho combo was fantastic. Great flavor and comforting. The wife got the pork with wonton and egg noodles. The pork was amazing as was the broth. In all, great meal -- would go there all the time in the winter.
the food was super good i ordered miso ramen and I really enjoyed it. It was a normal wait time and there was always someone to assist us. My favorite part of my meal was the fish cakes and pork belly they were flavorful and delicious.
