I wonder why these shop owners are in business. I used to overlook their rudeness and purchased items there despite their behavior but my last visit was the final straw. I asked for the price of an item and they gave me a price, however, when checking out, they gave me a higher price. Of course, I said something and they treated me as if I was trying to take advantage of the situation — she basically told me it was her shop and she sets the price not her sales clerk. They did not even know or acknowledge that I have been coming there for years and purchased hundreds of dollars in merchandise. Try Chez Renee - they have nice clothing and are very polite to their customers.

The first time I went here the white saleswomen kicked me out for being to young And that I need to bring my mom with me to get in which my mom was at home I tried coming back here yesterday because i gave them a second chance And the two people with the blond hair were nice to me and let me in without any problems And the other worker with the brown hair was nice too

Cute stuff, but the old, white saleswomen are perhaps the rudest people I ever met. I witnessed one saleswoman tell a little girl, who was standing in the doorway waiting for her mom, "You have to move." When the little girl did not move, because why would she when spoken to in that manner, the salewoman went back up to her and "Move!" I confronted the saleswoman advising her that her behavior was unbecoming and flat out rude, she was unable to understand why her behavior was not appropriate. Never, EVER visiting that store again. So many other better clothing shops on and around Church St. with nicer sales people.

Unusual jewelry and really nice bags.. I needed a last minute gift and ran into this shop. What a find! They helped me find something in my price range...a totally cute wrist cuff - which my friend loves btw....and I am so thrilled to see all of the cool tops in there. Love not having to deal with the mall....or online nonsense....shop small Montclair friends and support our town.

Dobbs admittedly has unique jewelry and fun and unusual clothing, but shopping there is just awful..The sales people are rude and arrogant. They look you over in the most condensing fashion when you walk through the door and seem irritated to provide assistance when you ask for it. I have bought several items from the shop over the years, but in the past few years, I just walk past the shop when I am in Montclair - I do not want to be subjected to an unpleasant shopping experience with rude and condescending sales help, no matter how great the jewelry and clothing is.

This place has great clothes, but the elderly ladies working their with bleach blonde hair are so completely rude! I am an 18 year old college student and I went their with my cousins and the two elderly ladies yelled at us and we're pretty much saying we were too young to be in there. It was honestly as if they didn't want any business at all. I'm so offended. This store will get none of my business anymore and I will continue to tell other people how horrible the people working there were to me and my family. Just because I look like a child still, doesn't mean I should be treated like one. I was publicaly humiliated in this store. I am completely offended I wasn't treated like one in this "professional" establishment. If you ask me, they are very unprofessional and need to grow up themselves.

The store has so many different kinds of items to adore and buy. I love their clothing and their jewelry as well as other bric a brac. The staff are warm and helpful. I have never had a bad experience. I hope you give them a try. I doubt that you’ll regret it. You will probably find yourself returning over and over again as did I.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. The owners are completely rude!!! No wonder I never see anyone in that store. Take my advice and spend your money elsewhere! There are so many lovely boutiques in Montclair with friendly workers/owners.

RUDE, MEAN, TERRIBLE humans. I was in the store maybe 30 seconds before one lady told the other to follow me and watch me... then said across the store to the lady following me, "UGH, she is touching everything with her dirty little hands."
