I had an awesome experience here, the atmosphere is just perfect for a tea house! I had the trio of biscuits, daifuku mochi, plum tea [for there], bought 2 loose teas, and another tea and a box of biscuits to go Reasonable prices for what you get, lovely sit down area, very good service, all in all HIGHLY recommend! It's just a lovely experience, I am more than willing to come again.... and drag my friends with me.
Terrific tea house with great service. Beautifully curated with ample space to sit, relax and enjoy fresh brewed teas. A great variety of teas to choose from. Service is outstanding as the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
This place is just fantastic, it's a quaint little super artsy cafe type place that serves a wide selection of various teas and such. The atmosphere and staff are really excellent, and this place is really unique. I recommend stopping by it.
I went here in August and it was excellent. They have an extensive menu that doesn't just tell you what tea they have, it also describes its flavors and history. They serve the tea in the dishes it was mean to be served in. I would definitely stop in again.
Super cute place!!! Worth visiting if you happend to be in portland or close by to it. They have so many options for teas. Once you enter is self-seating. A staff member will bring you, the "menu", in the style of a book. In it will explain, their history, their story, how it all started. Super helpful menu, has a description of contents, for every tea they offer. It can get overwheleming, so many options!! Once your ready to order, you have a bell on hand, which they provide with the menu. Ring the bell, staff member shows up, and you place your order. The staff were so friendly, very helpful. The environment alone is so soothing, very relaxing. I love that they have different options for seating, from regular wood chairs and round tables, to sofas and pillows to sit on carpet. Need to remove shoes. Theres a lot of room for quite, more towards the back end of the store. I personally ordered the masala. Came with honey and whole milk. Very presentable! I will return during the summer time to try their iced teas and seasonal drinks. They have wifi and a public bathroom. There's 2 hour street parking available. You Can download the parking app, use cash or credit.
Got tea to-go. Water can only reach 212 degrees and somehow they managed to go beyond that. After what felt like 3 hours 30 minutes it cooled down enough to drink and it tasted great. Cup was constantly leaking and burned a few holes through my fingers but I'll manage.
This tea house was a wonderful surprise to walk upon when I was in the Portland area!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Their tea selection is amazing!! They offer a decent-size book with tea options with descriptions where they came from and also frozen in ice drinks in the back. They are super friendly and helpful and let you know when a cup of tea is actually a few that you can reuse the loose leaf tea!! If you're looking for a quiet spot to just sit relax, have a cup of tea and watch the world go around then this spot is for you! I can't wait to go again!! And they also have a t log file in the back for those patrons that visit often and want to take notes on the teas that they have tried and liked!!
This place was super cute with a very large selection of tea. If you're a tea enthusiast then you definitely need to check it out.
Probably one of the best tea houses in the country Comfortable and classy atmosphere great for a date night or meeting a friend
Waited for over 10 minutes to even get an acknowledgement which never came. The person working behind the counter spent the entire time espousing false information about the origin of tea in the western world. Zero customer service. Was looking forward to this shop. Will not be back.Service: 1/5
