Story

Dock FC is DC's first soccer centric sports bar. Inspired by owner Ari Gejdenson's time playing professional soccer abroad and his life long love for the game and the camaraderie and community that surrounds it, Dock FC is instantly DC's premiere gathering spot for all lovers of the world's most popular sport.

Dock FC takes its name from the great FC (Football Club) powerhouses in international soccer while paying homage to its DC location, the site of the original loading dock of the historic Hecht Warehouse in Ivy City. Multiple large screen tvs and projectors will cover the stylish tiled walls with the beautiful game from open-close, but also show plenty of coverage of DC sports teams as well as lesser known in America but popular international spectator sports such as rugby, cricket, and Aussie rules football.

The beer-centric bar will feature local craft beers as well as soccer fan favorite brews from around the world. A concise collection of handcrafted cocktails inspired by soccer greats such as The ‘Sir Alex,’ an old fashioned made with Scotch named for the legendary Scottish Manchester United manager. A food menu of tacos, ceviche, and guacamole offers a delicious option to snack on while watching your favorite teams.

Watched el clásico at this very clean great atmosphere bar! Good food and great service makes you feel welcomed. Sports fans will live all of the TVs to watch!
Cool spot, nice bartenders, good food. My only reason for giving it 3 stars is that they're a soccer bar, but they don't have access to most MLS games. Only one TV can play ESPN + or FoxSports, so if you want to watch more than one match you're out of luck. Hopefully they add access to other matches going forward!
They put on the Canada/Costa Rica women's CONCACAF semifinal game on Fox Sports Plus for us when no other sports bar was sure they had that channel! It's like it was the only place in the city where we could be sure we'd get to see the game! They had a cozy couch area with big screens so it was like we were hanging out in our own living room, but with super friendly service and with a delicious Mexican restaurant available to us! They get their food from an adjoining diner and an adjoining Mexican restaurant, and while we didn't try the diner, the Mexican was delicious! We tried a bunch of different tacos and they were all really good, but the carnitas ones were so good we actually got another tray of them! They were juicy and sweet and had almost a cinnamony taste -- really unexpected and really delicious!
Dock FC is nestled in the Ivy City district of NE DC. It's a converted garage turned pub that offers numerous television screens to watch soccer matches. The place is well decorated with club banners and national flags lifted in the rafters. Meanwhile there is a bar and stool tables to sit while watching the match. It's kinda neat with the garage setup as driver bys and onlookers from outside can catch the ambiance and join in if there's a big game going on e.g. world cup. There was a diverse mix of patrons there - some there to grab a bite, some there to watch the games. In today's case, many people came to support their team at the world cup that gave an extra boost of energy. Drinks were on par to DC prices. The dock FC punch special was good and would have again. Haven't had any of their food dishes but service seemed good. Overall, it's a very good soccer bar and would come back again.
Great for watching soccer. They have enough TVs and projectors to make sure you can watch your game. They even have FIFA on a giant projector than you can play when games aren't on. As far as food and drink, they feature a good selection of local beers and have solid food.
Cute sports bar with a vintage diner vibe. It's very bare bones but is owned by the same folks who own La Puerta Verde and Ari's Diner. They serve a basic menu from both restaurants, breakfast all day from Ari's and a small selection from La Puerta Verde nachos, chips, etc. Service was prompt, mixed drinks were not very strong for cost. It's alright.
Love Dock FC. Excellent place to watch soccer or really any sports. Good, affordable drink selection. Also love that they serve food from Ari’s Diner next door.
What a great looking bar tucked into the lively Ivy City neighborhood! Unfortunately looks can be deceiving...the service is substandard. The waiter was less than exceptional with a dry attitude. But if that type of thing doesn't bother you, you should enjoy it. Tacos are good!
Nice place, good pancakes horrible syrup tho! if you bring your own ms buttersworth the oancakes will be a REAL nice deal. Caters more to soccar fans with sports on sundays with about a 30 minute delay seeing some NFL games at 1 30 instead of 1pm to see some games. menu limited... parking can be tricky, nearby garage somewhere. seating ia ok. i WILL be back but ONLY days when MY team plays the 4pm game.
Great place to watch EPL games. Staff always great. Forgot my credit card one morning and they kept it on hand. Shares same kitchen as Ari’s Diner and La Puerta Verde do selection is great for anytime of day. #dockfc
