Hooters

After nearly 20 years, on May 19, 2019, DC's only Hooters location will be closing due to the increased lease cost. Until then only the small bar area is open, the large dinning room is closed. They are also making orders to go. DC will miss this American icon with their wings, and unique ambiance.

Our Hooters waitress was very nice and friendly. It was son 14th birthday. First time every going to Hooters... The girls made him blush

Not even lying when I say I had one of the best burgers here. Totally appreciate the military appreciation here as well as the wonderful kitchen!

We loved it! Our first time here and all the girls look amazing. Food very delicious especially my virgin piña colada.

Great food & service! Went to watch the soccer game ... Fun crowd there that day. Great manager!

Great little spot that is unfortunately closing down. I took a star off because of the speed of service on our visit and that we were solicited at the table. Wait staff is pleasant and stayed on top of drinks being refilled. We went in for Monday night wings and had a good experience. Downsides were being solicited at the table, it was and usually is very brightly lit for a restaurant, and the speed of the food coming out was and usually is pretty slow.

Website says they deliver so I called this Hooter's directly. Barely inteligible woman on the phone hung up on me once then on second call said they don't deliver. English skills lacking.

This Hooters is now a hands down favorite. The hostess were friendly and accommodating. My party decide to sit at the bar and drink instead of the tables. We had no problem getting a seat around 3pm. Our server Mrianda was delightful! She was friendly, professional and made sure we were served. She worked the bar well, and no patron sat with an empty glass. The bar had its locals and they were friendly and the staff knew them by name and orders drinks, foods. They whole staff, kitchen cooks, other servers and such were all helping each other. That was outstanding to see, as the service industry inst easy. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The food even though we didn't order, but we saw it be delivered was fast and exactly what people ordered. Overall this Hooters is one to visit if you are ever in the neighborhood.

This is definitely one to pass on. We placed our carry-out order online and it indicated the order would be ready in 21 minutes. We parked across the street with a couple of minutes to spare literally pulled up 19 minutes later and talked briefly. After going in the service immediately went down hill. The server/hostess bagging carry-out meals was rude and used her cell phone the entire wait which turned out to be an ADDITIONAL 30+ minutes. She made no apologies for the delay and only replied, "I'm still waiting on your vegetables," when asked how much longer our order would be. Our wings and fries were done about 20 minutes after arriving but steamed veggies that are thrown on the grill for a few moments took upwards of 50 minutes to get ready from the time the order was placed? The "extra crispy" wings we ordered were soggy, as were the fries but they both had good flavor. I still dipped my fries in the queso dip, which was tasty. My vegetables were not worth the wait but were good. The celery was soggy and they forgot the blue cheese. All in all the food would have possibly been enjoyable if each portion of the order had been ready at the same time, however the slow and rude service plus a lack of concern about either was ridiculous.

Horrible absolutely horrible. We eat at hooters all the time when we travel and at home. This is by far the worst place to go. Honestly corporate should be all over this location as they put the hooters name to shame. We went in and waited over 15 minutes for some one to greet us. No one did so we left. We then decided to give it another try and came back later. We got seated but waited over 15 minutes for drinks. Then over an hour for appetizer. Finally we told the waiter to cancel the order as we had a movie to catch. Our order came out and was not cooked. The chips were chewy and the wings burnt horrible horrible. Do not waste your time!!!
