Wonderful grooming experience with Jessica, she gave my little Havanese a great cut! Parking wasn’t a problem, there seemed to be plenty of spots on the street close by. We’ll be back to have a full groom with Jessica in a couple months as well as dropping by for mail trims in the interim. Very reasonable prices!
I have been recommending Dogs Dig It to everyone I know, so I figured I should just share with the whole internet. My dog has several places he considers heaven: his dog bed, Normandale Park, 1,000 Acres, and Dogs Dig It. He is a social guy, so spending the day at home on the couch would leave him super restless and bored. He loves spending the day playing with the other doggies and running around the yard. And I love being able to check in on him throughout the day on the web cams! I'm watching him at this moment as I write this review running around wagging a happy tail. Added bonus, on days when I just don't have time to take him for a run or to the park, he comes home from daycare nice and sleepy. The staff are friendly, efficient, and just awesome. You can tell they love my dog and they're happy to see him when we come in. I think the most telling thing is that we boarded the pup over a long weekend and when we took him back a few days later for daycare, he ran right in and was excited to be back. Dogs Dig It offers a fantastic service, is incredibly convenient and my dog likes being there. I have recommended it to all of my friends with dogs!
We love Dogs Dig It. The dog play area, the boarding and the grooming is all great. So lucky to have this near our house.
We love boarding our dog here, the staff are friendly and they take good care of our pup while we are away.
One star for the dog daycare. The meet and greet was a fail because our dog was sniffing the fence as though she wanted to leave during her whopping 10 minute stay. Yeah. She’s a dog in a new environment. It’s going to take a minute. Additionally she is a dog of the pandemic. So, again she’s going to need some TIME to adjust to being around more people and dogs and a new space. Where’s the patience, understanding, and compassion? I was looking to get the girl around more dogs. She does well at dog parks with other dogs, so not concerned with that. Had to get her the “canine flu vaccine” for this useless meet and greet. So dumb AND EXPENSIVE $180+ at the vet I didn’t need to spend. I had a friend tell me PRIOR to this meeting that her dog was not accepted here either and yet Dog Days accepted without issue. I thought yeah, my dog goes to dog days too. But since she gets groomed here I thought, why not? I should have listened and canceled the appointment. Stuck up process. I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time and money here. They remind me of the pixie project’s adoption process, exclusivity to a fault. Do you wanna help dogs or not? Can you imagine human daycares running in this fashion? They wouldn’t take anybody due to nerves. Be 5 stars for the grooming. Grooming staff is FANTASTIC.
We use the groomers at Dogs Dig It, and they are amazing! You have to schedule well in advance, but they have a great mobile scheduling system, are very responsive via text, allow you to pay via mobile before pick-up and do an amazing job! My dog loves going here for baths!
A veritable paradise for pups! The staff take such thoughtful care of the dogs, and there’s a constant environment of joy and wellbeing surrounding the entire space. What lucky pups who get to spend their days at Dogs Dig It!
We've been bringing our dog to DDI since we moved here in 2016. It doesn't seem like much from the outside but on the inside there is an amazing staff ready to hangout with your dog all day. They know our dog's name Mari, and when we go to pick her up they'll tell us how she acted/how much she played. The outdoor spaces for the dogs there is 4 technically is all they could ever want. Plenty of space to run, shaded areas, fans, toys, and even a kids jungle gym to play on. They also have a lot of great resources on their website from pricing to live webcams of the yards. If you have a social pup that loves to play I HIGHLY recommend Dogs Dig It.
We waited a month and took time off work to bring our dog to be evaluated for daycare at 1:45pm on a Tuesday. After having him in their yard for over a hour, the handler evaluating him told us a bit gruffly she was unable to make a decision positively or negatively about him, but that we could pay for more 1/2 day sessions that would allow them to further evaluate him for full day, day care. We asked the handler what he did while there and she said he sniffed and ran around in their yard, laid in the pool, and played with a golden retriever. When we asked why then he was not fully approved for the full day, daycare she told us he didn’t come when she called him, and that they needed him to have recall incase a fight broke out. When we pointed out that of course he wasn’t going to come to a stranger in an unfamiliar place while being surrounded by other dogs, she didn’t have much of a response other then, it was something they wanted the dogs at their day care to do. When we then clarified if all of the other dogs in the pen would come when called she said “most of them” which didn’t make us feel like it was really a hard requirement for the day care and more like they just have too many dogs signed up for the full day service, and only are able to take dogs for the half day service. We ended up going with a different daycare - giving two stars because we took time off from work to bring him to an evaluation where they failed to evaluate him either positively or negatively. We did not see the handler make an effort to connect or comfort our dog into the new environment which is something that we prioritize in a daycare. We need day care because we need someone to care for him during the day not because we have unlimited free time to bring him to play with dogs for 4-5 hours at time, if we had that we would take him to a park, instead of taking him to daycare.
My dog ended up being too fearful to complete her nail trimming. Regardless, Nancy and her team went above and beyond to do their best and try to make the situation as enjoyable for my dog as possible, and tried multiple things before deciding that it was not a good idea to go any further. I was super impressed by their kindness and professionalism. Would recommend to anyone.
