The store is pretty well stocked; however, the smell of marijuana inside the store is overwhelming. The employees are not very professional nor attentive to the customers. There were 3 employees today but only 1 register open. The line was halfway down the food isle. I always buy my cleaning supplies at Dollar Tree but today I got home and 7 items were not in my bags! After thoroughly checking my car I called to ask about an extra bag left at the register. The assistant manager was very matter of fact with me and borderline rude, almost as if I was asking for something free! I will most definitely drive across town from now on to a different dollar tree!
I had gone into the store to return some items that I had my receipt for another location, and the cashier had asked the manager Thomas if they could take the items even though the receipt said Family Dollar. I had originally bought the items from another Dollar Tree location which was also apparently a Family Dollar. Thomas was very argumentative and said that the receipt said Family Dollar, and I tried explaining that if he checked the address it was actually a Dollar Tree. Then he was fixated on he thought there wasn’t a date on the receipt, however, there was. He then agreed to take the items back after 5 minutes of trying to argue with me. Then he proceeded to follow me around the store and asked if my service dog that had a very clear service harness on was a service dog and if I had papers. Well, in SC you don’t need papers but okay. He then went to the back of the store and I overheard the employees talking about the family dollar discussion. Very poor customer service and I will not be returning here. Thomas should be ashamed of how he treated and spoke to me. He also should not be working in a management role if that’s how he treats people. When I brought my stuff up to pay for them, the cashier asked me to empty out the small shopping cart…I’m not sure why they couldn’t just take things out as they rang them up.
Very messy, the person at the register was on her phone, shelves were in much need of a good straightening out.
I received the worst customer experience ever on May 9, 2023. I was trying to purchase some balloons for my daughters birthday, so I go over to the cashier, she said that her name was Shay, and I asked if she could blow up a few balloons for me. She was so rude and gave me a weird look as if she didn’t want to be at work. She told me that she was not going to blow up any balloons because they had balloons floating around the store already for purchase. I was going to actually purchase some balloons that they had already , but then I realized that they were all tangled up, so I mentioned to her that they were tangled and asked for assistance helping me get a couple of them. She told me that she couldn’t help me get the balloons and that she was the only employee working today, I then ask for a manager and she told me that the manager was not there, then I ask for a number to corporate, she then went to say that she didn’t know the number for corporate. I will make sure to never stop by this location ever again! Horrible customer Service with rude raggedy appearance employees.
Horrible customer service. I’ve been here a few times and the customer service was never this bad. The employees were all standing around laughing very loudly and only one cashier ringing up customers. The cashier did not pay attention to what she was doing and was making several errors. The cashier also joined in on the loud laughing session. She never opened her mouth to say ANYTHING to the customers and flung their receipts at them. There was one employee trying her best to straighten up the messy store she was not apart of the loud laughing. She was helpful with finding needed items.
I'm loving the arts and crafts options they have here. A lot of fun things I can buy for the kids. And use to decorate my house.
Dollar Tree always comes through. I was able to go in and get balloons for my son's graduation with ease. The ladies were very pleasant and already preparing graduation ceremonies.
Great deals as always. I went there on a Friday afternoon and the store looked like a wreck. Items were all over the floor, the restocking carts were lined in the rows with no one working to restock or move them out of the way when we needed items behind them, so my friend and I had to move these heavy restocking carts out of the way to get what we needed. There were other women struggling with this as well. The lines were really long and there were obviously not enough cashiers. Overall, if they staffed more people, I feel these issues wouldn't have occurred.
This was the worst shopping experience for me today! I was at the register around 3:05pm today and the cashier walked over while talking on her cellphone. I said hello, but she did not speak to me the entire time. She also didn't say the amount. I can't believe they hire people with absolutely no customer service skills. That was awful and she should be fired for her rotten behavior.
I love the fact that even when the store seemed short staff they were still able to accommodate me with an exchange. The store is more organized than forest drive location. More product on the shelves and not in boxes just sitting on a cart.
