Dolman Oral Surgery

My experience with Dr. Dolman and his staff was nothing short of amazing! I went in for pain where it had been recommended that I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. After an x-ray, Dr. Dolman took the time to explain all the potential strategies and the risks and considerations for each. I was the last appointment of the day and didn't feel rushed at all, had all my questions answered and felt totally heard and taken care of. He also gave me his personal phone number to reach out if the medication didn't reduce my pain. His staff were also lovely and I will be returning for an extraction soon and will never go anywhere else! Wish all medical professionals could be this thoughtful and thorough :.

Dr Dolman is the absolute best - he removed my wisdom teeth and I cannot recommend him/his team enough. He is so kind, patient, and he made me feel heard from the consultation through post-op. I felt safe, informed, and beyond cared for he continues to be available through text to check in and answer all post op questions!. I would refer anyone to him in a heartbeat. Office is also stunning so that’s a plus!

I got my surgery done in August and the experience was wonderful. Dr. Dolman explained everything very thoroughly before, during and after the surgery process. He even checked in with me after I went home during recovery. His team was also very friendly and on top of making sure everything was sorted out so that when I went home there weren’t any issues. Would recommend Dr. Dolman and his team to anyone needing oral surgery!!

Dr. Dolman is an amazing! He is a very attentive and caring doctor. Dr. Dolman made sure I was doing well post op. He also made it aware if anything were to come up I could contact him. The level of care I've recieved from this office surpassed my expectations. The staff is just as nice and efficient. No issues with billing or anything. 100% recommend Dr. Dolman!

Wonderful practice, I could not recommend the Dolman Oral Surgery team enough!!! They are so sweet, friendly and kind, and will make you feel at ease no matter the procedure. Dr. Dolman is incredibly informed and overall a great medical professional. He routinely checked in with me after the procedure and made sure I was recovering well, happy to help with anything! I would highly recommend Dr. Robert Dolman for any oral surgery needs! He was AMAZING! I got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed, and if I’ll ever need to remove the other two I’m definitely going to come back. I was invited to come by the office the day before the surgery for consultation and to discuss what will happen the next day. At the entrance I was greeted by a lovely young lady,and not even a minute later Dr dolman personally came to the waiting area to welcome me, he was very friendly and very professional. I had an X-ray on the spot and after that dr Dolman showed me it,explained what’s going to happen the next day and answered all my other questions. The surgery itself was painless and fast, I was in and out in about an hour. I have received prescriptions for antibiotics, probiotics, pain medication, nausea medication, as well as a small kit for self care for the area of the surgery. In addition I got great papers with well explained information and instructions for self treatment the first days after the procedure. Another thing that I loved about Dr Dolman is the after visit care,I got from the doctor his personal phone number and I was told to feel free to contact him whenever I need to. The thing about Dr dolman is that he actually means it as oppose to other clinic places I have been to before. Dr Dolman answered any question I had,and texted me around every other day to ask me about how do I fell and advise me on any questions I had. If you are in need of an oral surgeon this is the BEST place for outstanding dental care with highly qualified professional staff!

The best my oral surgery could go! I made an emergency appointment with Dr. Dolman after pain and a possible crack in a wisdom tooth only two weeks before a long-awaited vacation. He made time to see me right away and was able to extract both my remaining bottom! wisdom teeth on the same day with no issues at all. He took the time to talk through the tradeoffs of timing the operation that far away from my vacation, and I was able to get the surgery done with confidence after he described a recovery plan tailored to my situation. After the surgery, he made himself constantly available to my nonstop questions as I nervously wanted to make sure I healed as smoothly as possible. He answered any question I asked promptly and thoughtfully, from whether or not I could eat soup with bread yes soup, no bread to when I could exercise start slow!. I'm now able to go on my vacation with confidence that I will be problem free, at least as far as my mouth is concerned. Thank you Dr. Dolman!

I was referred to Dr Dolman by another Dr to consult with me about a very niche/specialized issue. I have spoken with about 6 other doctors this year to try and better understand the problem and none of them came close to what Dr Dolman was able to do. He truly went above and beyond to understand the problem and then explain the treatment options in a comprehensive and clear way. It was evident that he is an incredibly talented Dr, but just as important, he is also a kind and thoughtful person. I wish I found him sooner -- it would have saved me a lot of time and effort and stress.

Dr. Dolman and Alex are amazing! I was in a lot of pain from an impacted wisdom tooth, and he not only gave me a consultation the next day, but was able to operate, give me excellent care and extensive follow up to make sure everything was okay. As a black woman it’s hard to find medical professionals who take your pain seriously and I felt very heard and was met with so much compassion! I healed very quickly, and would recommend friends and family him. Alex was also soo kind, very detailed and transparent and brought a very warm energy to my operation. Thank you so much!

During my annual dental checkup, my Long Island City dentist observed that my wisdom teeth were causing some cavity concerns and recommended that all four teeth be removed expeditiously. New to the city, I was referred to Dolman Oral Surgery, and I am so thankful for the suggestion! From my first appointment, I felt immediately at ease with Dr. Dolman. He was efficient, thorough, and kind. He carefully drafted a care plan that took my prior dental and medical histories into consideration and patiently answered each of my questions. I felt immensely comfortable with his entire office and was able to schedule my extraction for approximately one week after my initial consultation. On the day of my extraction, from prep to discharge, the entire procedure took just a bit over an hour to complete. Dr. Dolman and his assistant worked efficiently and precisely, much like they were performing a ballet. I experienced no pain, no anxiety, and incredulously said “that was it?” when told that we were all set and done! Following my procedure and short drive home, I received hourly follow-up texts from Dr. Dolman himself to ensure that my recovery was progressing as anticipated. I have never experienced such thoughtful care and knowing that my surgeon was only a text away made my recovery a supremely pleasant experience. While no one is ever wildly psyched to have their wisdom teeth removed, Dolman Oral Surgery went far above and beyond to ensure that my experience was first rate. Should you find yourself in need of wisdom tooth extraction or any other oral surgery, I cannot imagine that you will find a more wonderful office in the five boroughs!
