I was at this establishment today at around 10:40am and I got two mozzarella empanadas one ground beef empanada and two pieces of fried chicken !! I am very disgusted and disappointed the food has upset my stomach and to top it off my chicken was raw completely raw that’s very unhealthy and unsanitary I want a refund I payed cash And I didn’t even receive my receipt!! I will be reporting this!
A Caribbean influence found in the Essex Market, Dominican Cravins has some unique dishes I have never seen before. Their pink sauce is to die for and it’s definitely not that viral pink sauce trending on Tiktok a few years ago. **Rating:** - Taste: 9/10 - Value: 8.5/10 - Ambiance/vibes: 7/10 - its located in essex market.
First time visit to the stall in the new Essex Street Market. Came at my wife's suggestion while in this part of town to visit a doctor. Loved the overall space of the market's new digs. In particular I enjoyed my interactions with the staff at Dominican Cravings, the young lady helping me was patient explaining what was what as I'm not Dominican if you can't tell from the pic I'm just another middle aged white guy. I had not had any breakfast so I tried the mangú, which was mashed plantains with fried salami, fried cheese and eggs. As a transplant from the American South it fit my dietary preferences for fat fried and greasy, health nuts need not even bother. All the empanadas from here are great, I think I've tried all the flavors by now my wife has picked them up and brought them home before.
Great tasting Dominican food! We liked the fact that the food was made to order and was well seasoned. The staff were super friendly and gave us great customer service. The empanadas were also very delicious. We will definitely returnRecommended dishesEmpenada, Chicken Plato, Tostones, Passion Fruit

I LOVE THIS SPOT! Their empanadas are so delicious and for a good price. If you gotta pick, get their chicken, beef, or ham and cheese! My sister had the tres golpes platter and was a fan too. Very nice people!
