Pretty solid empanadas. Not the best, but the best in the area since your options are low in that category. Very nice variety in flavors and pretty inexpensive. You can't go wrong if you need a quick cheap lunch/snack.
We went there a Sunday bonus point for being opened while touring the Financial district. I'm no Empanadas expert but the two I took Argentine Sausage & Spicy chicken were REALLY good. Especially the latter. The owner is nice and can advise you if you have no idea what to pick.
Empanadas are not very delicate, nor very tasty. Just okay. The fillings can be more flavorful. Would rather spend the $10-15 on better lunch options around.
I love the food, it's all delicious. It's very cheap for area. The staff work their butts off and are friendly.
I really enjoyed their empandas, and I make my own at home. It is also great to have so many options.
These empanadas are definitely made for the American palate. Some are better than others, but stick to the popular ones like beef and spicy chicken. They also have a dessert empanada. Don't expect authenticity as these are made with a sourdough crust and are abnormally large.
Reuben's empanadas are one of our most favorite things in the world to eat, in particular the Spicy Chicken! We have been eating them weekly for more years than I can remember have never had a problem of any kind.
Not worth the $5, tasteless and the cheese empanada was a let down! The cheese tasted old.
I had the spicy chicken empanadas. They're not the original, its more like pastry bread filled with meat. The chicken had no flavors or any spice to it. For the price paid it was very disappointing.
