Don Patron Mexican Grill

Great place to eat. Good food. Excellent service. I've visited Mexico twice on hunting trips. The people there are wonderful. Not like the media wants you to believe.

I've always had good times at Patron places in the tristate area. This one was dissapointing in both food and service. I had to wait 10 minutes to be sat (the person taking payments was also doubling as the host) due to confusion about who had walked in the door first. It's a cramped area. I was finally seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned. Or bussed. Like this was totally normal to them. In fact, they were a bit miffed when I asked for the dishes to be removed and table cleaned before I sat down. The server came and was rude when I tried to reassure her it was ok. To take a deep breath, I've been there (understaffed). But she just told me she didn't really care about what I thought. My order was wrong and when I complained you can imagine what happened. I'm sure this is 100% not the way they normally run the business and I came at a bad time but unfortunately it was so bad that I can't give them a second chance to make a first impression.

Good food but service could be just a little better but it was overall a fun festive atmosphere

Would be awesome if I could have been waited on instead of waiting for 15 minutes and one other customer in the place whom came in after me and walked past me or I'd still be setting there. The big dude that waited on me and usually does everytime I come here is not very groendly, almost like he hates to wait on me....
