Dorn Veterans Hospital

I go there as a veteran for medical care. I like that they allow me to walk in and get care or answers right away. They seem to care a great deal for me and my concerns. There are usually no lines and if there are you are only in line for approximately 5 to 15 mins at most in any clinic or dept.

The Veterans Administration Columbia SC, has made great strides to improving the Quality of Service to it's veterans. Less wait time and more follow up! Keep up the great work V.A.!

I had an x-ray department appointment set up through the Sumter VA. I got there early, parked and did my thing. Everyone there was nice! The hospital was PACKED, apparently it usually is.

9 months wait for mental health care was garbage. Then all they cared about was the number of appointments. Not the care. Called the hotline and to complain and some insert former rank that no longer matters because your a civilian here wanted to reminiscing name drop about people. Rather than taking care of my actual issue.

Blue team rocks. Very well taken care of. The dermatologist was quick and diagnosed my condition and referred me to have it resolved. She was the best I have had in over 30 years of skin issues. Only criticism not if the care but it would be very cool if they had some signage and painted the building numbers on the buildings.

Well organized arrival area with multiple check in stations. Must have appointment for entry. No valet parking anymore, but they do a good job providing pickup and drop-off. I use a walker and when they noticed me coming someone came out with a transport wheel chair and brought me to intake.
