Best little haunt off division. Great bar food. Always showing good movies. Can be quiet and cozy or loud and rambunctious on either side. Cute couple buying the bar have cool vhs tapes you can buy as wellFood: 5/5
There is no wait staff to take orders at your table so everything is ordered at the bar by ONE employee, which might work for a Monday, but definitely not a Thursday. When you order food and they lose your food ticket order, you will be expected to still pay full price for it an hour after they have 'rushed' it through. And then the general attitude is, 'We don't care you had to wait an hour for your food, we just want our $'. The nachos were awful. The music was too loud, and everything was dirty, sticky, and gross. Never. Going. Back.
Food was good overall just a bit greasy and left consequences for some the next day. The drinks were loved by all. The staff was what you expected from a bar. Friendly and ready to make you a drink! The atmosphere was great and what you are looking for in a late night bar! We went after Rocky Horror as a group and got served quickly and is now a go to spot for late night when we are in that area. Shareable food and GF options! Dietary restrictions: Has gluten free options! Was great for a late night spot with dietary restrictions.
Just visited for the first time. Had the holiday drink week special which was very tasty, their signature burger was very solid, and the jalapeno bacon cheese fries were great. Dig the funky decor and they were playing classic punk tracks, which are all things I approve of. Will come back for sureFood: 5/5
After watching The Menu, was really craving a hamburger. The Dot’s Burger hit the spot! Fries could’ve used a little more salt but were just the perfect accompaniment to the burger. I hear the cubano is a must try here. Overall great dive bar spot to grab drinks and/or dinner. It’s right along a bike path so it’s a great place to stop by in the Clinton neighborhood for a quick bite or drink on your bike commute. They have daily specials e.g. $6 slushies on Tuesdays
Dots is THE hangout spot for mental health workers after a long shift. The reasonably priced kitchen sink fries and chicken strip basket are my go-to’s, atmosphere and music are always on-point, friendly staff bartender Eddie is awesome; I gotta come for brunch sometime!Food: 5/5
I was trying to meet a friend at Reel M Inn on division, but it was closed. My friend Jackie suggested that we head over to Dots in the Clinton neighborhood, so that’s what we did. Due to Covid, they had a window to order food and drinks, and plenty of heated, outside seating. They have a good section of beers, and cocktails etc. menu sounded good as well, but we didn’t eat. I’d definitely suggest this place for anyone looking for a mellow neighborhood bar in the Clinton area.
A great spot to stop for a quick brunch and a brew on a Sunday bike ride. My friend and I rode over from the Sellwood area and made it here via the Springwater corridor trail for most of the way. The food was great, wonderful wait staff and a nice chill vibe. I had the pilsner and Grandpa's Sandwich. I totally recommend this place.
A bar who's interior has apparently remained the same for many, many years, even when ownership was changed. A large, relatively dark space adourned with velvet pictures & plenty of booth style seating. A decent happy hour menu & really good food & drink specials. We ordered the rum tango punch slushie, an Earl Grey cocktail forgot name but on specials menu, fish & chips, grilled cheese that comes with tomato & basil soup, & hush puppies; all on the happy hour menu & super tasty.
the grilled cheese here is among the best I've ever had, if not the best. sadly, the tomato soup has an aftertaste that makes it almost inedible. great vibesFood: 4/5
