Got a doughnut 2 days in a row now and they were both stale, very thick/overly doughy. Not good and not worth the $5 because they tasted like chunky flavorless bread. Disappointing because I’ve had their doughnuts from their Chelsea location and they were wonderful.
We really enjoyed our donuts as a dessert! The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and insightful. Worth eating again!
Tasty donuts and interesting uncommon flavors like hibiscus.
4 donuts for $25 now that’s quite something. And i’m taking about something bad. Dry donuts with little to no toppings which is a shame since the price point is quite high. Won’t really come back unfortunately since they visually looked really good.
The doughnuts look amazing! Sadly that's the only good thing that can be said about them. They were not fluffy light doughy doughnuts, but mostly like bread... flavorless bread. Very disappointing, especially considering how expensive they were. My wife and I bought 2 and it was over $11. After a couple of bites we felt like throwing them out. $6 of doughnut ended up in the trash.
Best donuts in central Manhattan! The place is located in Urban Space a nice food little mall on the north of Metlife building near Grand Central terminal. It is a little counter packed with a good variety of donuts. The most stricking caracteristic of these donuts is the size. These are very substancial pieces of donuts. Most importantly these are very good donuts: try sugar cinnamon and nutella and indulge
The doughnuts are really filling. Little pricey but I find it worth coz it’s thick and fills you up. My all time favorite is dulce de leche but I like all the flavors.
Love the donuts, hate when places close earlier than they say. I ran across town to come to this location. Got here at 8:40 to find no one at the counter. At 8:45 someone showed up to tell me they were out of all the donuts sold. I find that hard to believe when the sheet used to tally the items was left behind on the counter. Now unless the sheet was wrong... You were trying to close early!!!
Don't listen to the bad reviews. The donuts are super good and absolutely worth their money. The food space Dough is located in has an interesting atmosphere with all the other small joints. Sure, the donuts can be gone fast. That's true but it's more of a testament to how good they are and that they don't overproduce just to throw away food at the end of the day. Come late - don't get anything. Sucks, but should be expected. Oh and BTW - the donuts are pretty large! :
It is one of the few places in that urban space that is actually open for a very early breakfast treat. It’s across from the Rosevelt hotel and is a walking distance from grand central.
