Decent coffee for a bit less than the rest of the spots in grand central. Plus, lots of pastries to choose from and relatively quick.

My order Au Saumon Salad was not clean!!! I found brown clay-like matter sticking to the salad leaves see photo. It looks like frozen dirt! I ordered via MealPal on 12/17/18 at the 245 Park Avenue NY location. Now please remember MealPal does not cook the food, Financier does. I brought the salad back to the store and inquired what that thing is. This is at around 2 to 3 pm. The lady at the MealPal counter right the way told me to contact MealPal for a credit. She then took the salad and told me to give her my contact so she can let me know what that foreign object is. She proceeded to peel off the Financier label and I got alarmed. When I asked her what she is doing, she rudely said "don't tell me how to do my job!" At this point I frankly pointed out that she is trying to get rid of the company label. She got more defensive and barked back "if you know then why you ask?!" Not only did that female bakery staff NOT apologize for the unclean food right the way, she 1 SHIFTED the responsibility to MealPal again MealPal does NOT cook Financier's food, 2 tried to DESTROY EVIDENCE on the Salad bowl label, 3 not even offer a replacement not that I would want another one This is such a bad reflection on the bakery! I caution anyone and everyone ordering food from this specific location of Financier!!!!

Greate coffee, poor service. Not a place to go if you are in a rush. It's usually empty at 8 am but it still takes 10 min to get your coffee. And they don't listen either. Asked for room in my coffee and two days in a row they filled it up to the top. I was one of 3 customers so it's not like they were busy.

Not a big fan of macaroons, still a good option

I am a huge fan of their macaroons especially their Raspbery and Pistachio. They have great treats to bring to friends when visiting which I do often.

We visited the place on 12-26. Although the pastries were very good, the staff were very rude and horrible, shouting at us asking for our order and they were rushing us. The place also is very small and no place to sit in.

Has been my everyday coffee spot for 5 years. The staff although having high turnover is always fantastic.

Love their deserts,hate their coffee.am talking about the location on 54th and 1st.worst cappuccino EVER!
