Douglass High School

There are quite a few good teachers at the school that really care. The way I see it, it takes a village to raise a child. First, the parents should be part of the village, not leaving everything up to the teachers and staff. Second, the parents are suppose to work with the school officials not against them. Third, preparation starts at home.

This is the worst school i have ever seen. They dont care about their students. They are a joke. They signal kids out. The teachers are bullies. Then try and put the blame on you. The district office aint no better. They called me a liar, argued with me. Tried blaming everything in me. Someone seriously needs to go in and clean house

The teachers come in with this attitude that the kids are just lazy criminal lowlifes and it really hurts everyone. Pray to every god you know if they decide to put you in special education. The teachers don't care and the classes are deprived of resources. Shout out to the ones that actually care, like the high school counselor and the dance teacher.

I apologize in advance for the staff this message does not apply but by all means get out quick. Anyways for your childs success send them anywhere else but here this place for four years disgust me and the crazy thing is from personal experience it ain't the kids, it ain't gang violence, drugs, alcohol, or anything else for that matter but the staff and their demons that make this school a waste of acres that could be a grocery store, clinic, donation station, shelter, or anything else to help the Eastside but this school ain't one of those things to help, this school really makes things worse for people's lives and brings everyone involved with it besides the blessed ones to get out down. I apologize Frederick A. Douglass for this school has put a shame to your name in everything except sports!
