I had Osteomyelitis and ended up in the ER at Middlesex health.  Dr Latif was the surgeon that performed my partial toe amputation.  He has been a great doctor, listening to my wife and I's questions and takeing the time to fully answer.  The toe is fully healed and continue to see him for my standard diabetic footcare.

I had a foot infection and Dr. Latif was recommended to me.  I went to see him on 2/14 afternoon, he cleaned the infection, told me 'that I had a soft corn, to use bacterial creme, said the inflammation should go down and scheduled me to see him again on 4/3/2020.   Three days later, the infection was worse, my foot was red and swollen up to my ankle.  As I was in Manhattan working, I saw a different podiatrist as it was very painful and I could not wear a proper shoe.  The doctor said had I waited 48 more hours, I could have been in surgery. He said, if left alone a few more days, the infection could have travel to my heart or other organs and caused a fatal condition.  He lanced the wounded, drained the infection, treated it, wrapped the wound and put me on 875 Mg of antibiotics 2X daily and told me to soak it in epsom salts 2X daily.  It took 3 days for the infection to subside and a week for the infection to clear.  In my mind, Dr. Latif did not do his job and put me in grave danger.  Sorry, but I cannot recommend Dr. Latif.  Go elsewhere if you have a serious infection.

Went to visit this doctor for the very first time last week advertises specialty is neuropath .  Which is the reason I went ,  I got it after surgery on my foot .  All he did was tell me he couldn't tell me what it was from could be from my back come be from my sciatic when I kept telling him it was from the surgery .  Told me I needed to go to a neurologist   And suggested the ones I go to when I called them they needed a referral called Dr. Latif's office back and I was told he doesn't give referrals .  The just of my appointment was he clipped my toenails and told me to put cream on my feet to avoid calluses and ulcers that was the end of the whole appointment I was not impressed would never go back or suggest

I was have several foot issues. Planter fasciitis and an Achilles issues and Dr. Latif was so nice and helpful.
