Dr. Fuller's advise truly helped us.
We are running a small foreign subsidiary operation in NYC. When one of our employee was in-hospitalized with a health problem, he kindly explained us how the local medical system works and advised us what should be the options we have as an employer. Since we do not have any human-resource professional among us or knowledge about the US medical system, his organized and rational explanations were greatly helpful. It impressed us that he made clear what he could and could offer.
Although we did not have a chance to ask him for any therapy this time, we would definitely recommend him when it's necessary. His kindness, sincerity, wide range of knowledge and experience should be helpful to those who need his assistance.
Thanks to his advise, we were able to send the employee back to his parents in his home country safely.

I've been to Ryan over the past several years. In a word, he is fantastic. More about me. Life is going great. Great life and great career in finance, but I find that time management and trying to fit in too much into an already over committed schedule can be overwhelming.
In comes Ryan. He has been terrific in helping me get through my own mental laundry and setting goals. What I love about Ryan is that he's flexible. It's not just about weight loss or "therapy" per se, it's really what is helpful to you. He is non judgmental while helping to direct you to your own conclusions and goals. I enjoy his encouragement and feedback, but at the end of the day, decisions are my own to make.
Obviously finding counseling is a very personal decision and usually "word of mouth". But if you are looking for someone who cares and can assist with self improvement, I highly recommend Ryan!

As the CEO of an analytic and intelligence company, and previously an online security provider responsible for protecting children on the web, I have consulted with Dr. Fuller for both research, and direction on our internal methodology.
You will not find a smarter, more thorough professional, who is also just a really nice guy with whom to do business. Whether you're a patient seeking the best therapist you can find, or a business in need of top tier brain power, look no further than Dr. J. Ryan Fuller.

I've been seeing Ryan for several years and have only good things to say about him. He's seen me at my best and at my worst, but I always leave my appointments with him feeling better than when I came in. He has great insights, feedback, and is always encouraging and supportive and non-judgmental. I feel that he has helped me immensely.

I had the privilege of training as an intern and then clinical fellow at New York Behavioral Health under the direct supervision of Dr. Ryan Fuller. During my weekly case reviews with Dr. Fuller, it was evident that his theoretical knowledge is unparalleled and his clinical approach is both direct and compassionate. He challenged me to become a better clinician, not just by teaching me concrete evidence-based tools for treatment intervention, but also by challenging me to stay intellectually connected to each case and flexible to the individual nuances of each client. Dr. Fuller and I also co-led a group therapy session during my time at NYBH. Through this experience, I observed Dr. Fuller's ability to translate complicated CBT and REBT theories into approachable and understandable material for clients. Throughout graduate school, my classmates and I were encouraged to practice "evidence based" cognitive-behavioral interventions because the research was equated with improved symptoms. My time under Dr. Fuller at NYBH gave meaning to the notion of evidence based treatment; I witnessed, firsthand, clients improve their symptoms. My two years with NYBH is the foundation of my professional career and I am forever grateful for the clinical expertise and training to which I was exposed.
