Dr. John P. Kelly, MD, Carson Tahoe Cancer Center

Dr. Kelly is a great doctor straight to the point and very very knowledgeable. He does not sugarcoat the issues, and tells you all you need to know and more about what you’re facing. I had Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma Type B and although chemotherapy is tough on you you both mentally and physically, the clinic And it’s staff of caregivers, nurses and office help are the best around. They helped me through one of the toughest times in my life.I truly recommend them.

Dr. Kelly is great! I had stage 4 colon cancer and I'm now 3 1/2 years cancer free. He gave me more information in a 30 minute consult than I got from my oncologist at the time. He also referred me to a surgical oncologist that specializes in the liver. They worked together, and still do, to save my life. I am forever grateful to him. Its true that he is not warm and fuzzy but that's not what I needed. I needed facts so I could know what I was dealing with and that's what I got.

If Dr Kelly is your Oncologist then I suggest you make arrangements to see another Oncologist! Over 20 people I have spoken too whom have seen Dr Kelly have all gave the recommendation to call someone else! 2 family members and my neighborhood is what prompted a little more research on this review! He makes them uncomfortable, doesn't listen and rude! Not really what you want to hear when looking for an Oncologist!!
