Sesame chicken has NO chicken in it. They served me fried batter covered in sweet sauce. I know we are in a pandemic and the cost of food has gone up...but come on! Literally no chicken???? I will never eat here or recommend anyone to eat here.
Nver ever ever again! The wantons are just this side of being burnt and they were horrible and hard as rock! The steamed dumplings were soggy, undercooked and gross, and what the heck do I need a bowl of sweet-and-sour sauce for fried rice for? Oh that's right, it was tasteless!! It's a good thing I can cook! I threw all this stuff back on the stove and redid it so it would be edible! Except the wantons. There is no fixing overcooked! Then on top of that by time I finished paying the delivery fee, the tip that I didn't authorize, and the driver's fee, I ended up paying almost $13 more! Grubhub is off my list also! Never again! Talk about gouge the market! I will find a better Chinese restaurant next time and I wish to God I had read the reviews 1st!
Delicious! Best vegetable fried rice in town. For vegans try their eggplant in garlic sauce, absolutely the best flavors together. Ask for their spicy mustard, made in-house. It will knock your socks off. Mei Fun noodles are our favorite noodle dish to order. Both wonton soup and egg drop are also good. The staff is very friendly. Not too many tables to dine in, but best Chinese take out for sure. Orders are typically 10min.
Will not be ordering from here again. I asked for chili oil and utensils for take out didn't get them. Got home to eat my general chicken...no chicken!!! Just crunchy batter. My dinner was a big disappointment. I paid for my order I should get chicken in my order. Also, my first time trying this place. Never again
Never had a problem with them until today. I went in and right away noticed a 2$ price difference on their lunch special, order my usual and proceeded to eat in my car. Not even 2 booted into my entree something sharp stab me. I found a staple in my food!
I love Dragon Wok but was disappointed with the kung pao chicken. It was stringy and had no flavor. The shrimp and lobster sauce my husband ordered was very good. The kung pao had no spice and was very dry. Will order again but not kung pao chicken which is my favorite! I’m taking back my comment, had to throw all the kung pao chicken out! As I mentioned the chicken was stringy no flavor and the peanuts were gummy!!
Dragon Wok on Academy Rd is pretty much your quintessential Chinese carry-out restaurant. I love me some good Chinese, and living in Albuquerque does not provide a great deal of options. The majority of Chinese restaurants in town are mediocre and only offer the basic delicacies that most Americans are best familiar with. Although the basics are also offered at Dragon Wok, it also offers a bit more. The menu is abnormally large and features a wide variety of options that allow patrons to be somewhat more adventurous. While the restaurant does have a few tables available for dinning service. Dragon Wok is really rather intended to be a carry-out type of joint. Yesterday, I placed a call in order during the late evening after getting out of work. Rather than being adventurous with their substantial menu. I ultimately settled on the sweet and sour chicken along with a small order of the chicken fried rice in addition to the included white rice. I was told that my order would take fifteen minutes to prepare. When I arrived, it still had yet to be ready. This was a one off however. As all my previous orders have always been waiting for me near the register when I've walked in. So I will for forgiving this time around. Once I paid and handed my delivery bag, I went home to enjoy. What's best about Dragon Wok are their portions. The chicken was enough for two servings, as was the case for both the white and fried rice. Not to mention that they're more than generous with the amount of sweet and sour sauce they provide you with on the side. The quality of the food is also consistently savory, authentic, and delicious. For an economically challenged young person looking to make food stretch. I can always count on Dragon Wok to provide me with at least two nights worth of delectable meals.
Heard good stuff about this place, ordered the chow menu and was absolutely devastated. The chow mien did not have any noodles. The sweet and sour chicken was separate and the sweet and sauce was dog water.
The food is good but the lady at the cashier who took my order is VERY VERY RUDE so rude made me not ever come back to this place again and it wasn’t just me she was also rude to the people before me made me nervous to place my order!
Moo shu pork was one of the BEST I've ever had! Husband got the Happy Family and was blown away with the portion and large amount of seafood We'll definitely be back!! ... I've been back many times, and they are ALWAYS GREAT
