Amazing small place that has an amazing amount of great local brews and those from around the U.S.. Additionally, the atmosphere is phenomenal and clean with sports on the TVs for those of you who enjoy that! Finally, they also have a bunch of board games and two video games to play! Thanks Drink Of Ages for a great Sunday place to have drinks!
Amazing customer service. Great beer selection. Fill your growlers or take a crowler to go. Awesome atmosphere.
A nice, low key bar with a great selection of craft beer on tap. The regulars were friendly to us and the bartender was attentive and helpful. We liked that the music was low enough that we could have a conversation. We'll be back.
Small place that packs a punch, they have a great selection of beers and the bartender knows his drinks. I'm looking forward to joining the mug club once they open up a few lifetime spots. The have a couple arcade machines and board games to enjoy while you drink. They even have a couple of beers to go. The parking here is tricky so plan accordingly.
Surprisingly diverse tap selection, well worth a lingering visit. Seems superficial and easy to dismiss, yet I keep going back... And I keep hearing superlative reviews from beer nerds I hold in high regard. I predict they will be a long lived Houston icon.
Great chill beer bar. Lots of local brews. Projection screen showing Cheers. Whats not to like? Service is great. They do half pours and flights. 31 beers on draft plus a nitro cold brew.
The night we went we had a GREAT bartender whose name unfortunately has slipped my mind. One of us doesn't really drink beer and was given tasters of lots of different drinks on tap to find the right one for her. It was a really kind, genuine gesture and it probably helped that we were pretty much the only people needing service at that time. That aside, the decor was cool, the vibe was really relaxed for a Friday night - it was all exactly what we were looking for. In total, the bar probably only seats about 25 people and then I assume it's SRO, they've got 20-30 good independent brews, and the music was good for x-ennials. Didn't bother me that night, but I don't believe they have a kitchen/serve food. However, we did see some food getting brought in by some other folks, so that seems to be a good alternative.
Without question, the single best pub/bar experience I’ve ever had. I expected everyone to scream “Norm!” right as I walked in the door. This is a non-pretentious, non-in your face, non-froofroo bar. It’s exactly what you need. You, a few friends bring some or make some while you’re there, some amazing brews, and a place to sit down. Anything more is a detraction. This place is a bargain at twice the price. Highly recommend 10/10. Can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic selection. Great atmosphere. Will continue to go.
It's a great friendly place with a very good selection of draught and bottle/can beers and ciders to enjoy on or off premise. They have several games available for friendly competition all with complementary snacks, plus John records his radio show at the same tables that patrons use.
