A few days ago my window air conditioner had blown the GFI on the separate 20 amp outlet on the electrical post which the park provides. I called the office to report it and a few minutes later Gerald came over and replaced the GFI outlet and breaker with new components. This was when Gerald was off duty and didn't have to come. But he knew it was an emergency and so he came to repair it. This is what I really like about Duck Creek RV park. The staff here will go beyond what other parks will do to ensure a good visit. I want to commend Deborah, the office manager who was extremely helpful to me in solving many problems and Gerald, the park superintendent, for making this place the best run RV park that I have visited. Also kudos to Vicky, who is absolutely great and one of the nicest people that I have met in Las Vegas, Stevie, Kim, and the large maintenance staff for the wonderful jobs that they do. I also want to thank the owner for the improvements that he has made to the park at enormous cost and the support he has given to the staff so that they can do great work. This is an absolutely great park. It is extremely well run and the facilities are top notch. People have complained that the spaces are crowded together but keep in mind that this is a very urban RV park. It is not located in the middle of Montana. It is only a 8 miles from the airport and the Las Vegas Strip. It is also 2 miles from a huge shopping area which includes Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy, Petsmart, Petco, and numerous restaurants. It is also very close to the Las Vegas Wetlands Park with terrific hiking and bicycle trails. There is also another large park next door. The park rules are extremely reasonable and are common sense. Some people, who have left poor reviews, were those who were asked to leave for breaking park rules like trashing the facilities or other uncivilized behaviors. There is a huge waiting list for getting into this park because people have heard what a great RV park this is. I have to agree. This is an absolutely great park.
The staff here is amazing the place is always clean and very well secured Nice little area.
Me and my boyfriend as well as our two doggies stayed here for a little while last year and we are now back! I needed to make sure I took a minute to say these guys are awesome!! Seriously the front desk was just as welcoming this time as last time. Luci and the other gal I can’t remember her name are seriously the sweetest!! The whole campground is very clean, all the tenants, short term and long term are extremely nice. Not to mention the newly renovated laundry room is sooooo nice!! You never have to wait and I love that. The prices here are very reasonable and we will continue to make duck creek our home anytime we are in Vegas. Thanks for all you do guys!!
It's awesome I've lived here for a year and a half. Love the staff
Stayed here a month. The Free wifi is trash so you'll most likely end up paying for it. Very friendly staff. Lots of traffic being right next to a major road. While I had nothing stolen, plenty of neighbors had stories of their stuff getting stolen even though the have an overnight patrol.
Nice and clean. A bit pricey. The best thing would be people who want to be in the Las Vegas valley, but desire the feel of desert pines.
My friend lives here full time.... nice RV park
Not an RV Park. It’s a trailer park with probably 95% of the people here living in their trailers full time and permanently staying. Cats running all over...even had the pleasure of one vomiting at our RV door one night.People who live here walk through your ‘site’ - which is like an airport parking lot very close and tight. So many cars , trucks, motorcycles parked on the street because there is no place to park a vehicle in your site. They even park across the entrance to your spot making it impossible to try and wiggle your RV in the spot you paid for. So many vehicles you have no idea who it belongs to. Lots of smokers sitting outside their trailers smoking for hours at a time. Literally, these sites are parking spots so close you cannot escape the smoke. The only good thing about this place is the bathrooms and laundry are very nice and clean. Otherwise, don’t stay here if you are looking for an RV park. It’s not what you are looking for.
This park was in a great location, right on boulder highway. The park was surprisingly quiet. The sites where all concrete with small spaces between spots. There was suppose to be security, but they where only there a couple nights a week. When they are there, they would just sit in their car by the clubhouse. This park had a 24 hour pool. Bathrooms where clean more often than not. All the employees lived at the park. They where not usually friendly or helpful. There was a big park right next to the park that was great for our dog. There was a small area of dirt for dogs, but that was it. We did have 2 bikes stolen here, but had a quiet experience other than that. We worked nights and never really had to have much contact with many people.
Just recently checked in for a long term stay and I cannot rave enough on how nice and amazing the staff is! Vickie and Debra are so nice and accommodating to us newbies! People around the park seem very friendly as well!
