Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort
"Las Vegas RV Campground is about more than just nightlife and stage productions. It's about experiencing the desert in a new and exciting way. Shaded by oak and manzanita trees, our RV campground in Nevada offers a peaceful preserve and a dramatic contrast to "The Strip" just six miles away. When you choose our Las Vegas RV Campground in southern Nevada, you will enjoy returning to this quiet retreat after visiting the "Entertainment Capital of the World".If you're up for a different form of recreation, you'll appreciate the "natural highs" of the mountains, cliffs and valleys that surround our Las Vegas RV campground."

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, but the park itself felt very unsafe. It was more like a residential trailer park. Very clearly people living there and homeless folks were walking between the sites. We almost didn’t stay the night out of worry. If you are a women or have children, I would not recommend.
The staff are super friendly. The location is HORRIBLE! Planes and helicopters fly over constantly, there’s a huge homeless population right outside the gate. The long term residents really needs some standards that they must abide. Most of their campsites looks really trashy. Low income housing right next door with blaring music and we even heard gunshots. We stayed for 6 days and never sat outside because we just didn’t feel safe.
Clean lots, but boy. be prepared to grease up your rig to get it in. Looks like they used to be longer pull through lots but were divided in half. Bathrooms were clean, but... no way to secure them from anyone just walking in. And while we were there someone just came up and sat at our picnic bench and refused to move. It was pretty creepy. Cell phone signal was great, we have Verizon
The only staff I saw was at the front gate and she was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. Unfortunately, the streets outside the park are not safe to walk, at least it doesn't feel safe. Within the Gates, it feels quite safe and the pool and grounds are adequately kept. There are many older RVs but seemed maintained and I saw no reason they shouldn't be there. I think those that are there for work and either commuting within Las Vegas or telecommuting might be the best residents. I'd prefer somewhere I can walk and bike ride while feeling safe. The RV park is doing the best within a changing neighborhood.
We have stayed there 3 time in the past couple of months and my kids love there. Staff is always friendly and love the heated pool and spa. Kids always seem to find new friend everytime we go. The only thing I wish they had is a playground for the kids, they get bord fast, wish they had a play to play at. Playground: Clean Restrooms: Wish they had one
I wish I can stay here forever. Such a wonderful place.. to stay permanently. Staff are friendly people are friendly and it's great to be a member.. it's very quiet and I wish I didn't have the two weeks on one out.. I love this place. The pool and spa were just right and I love the feel .. I also love the gate guards especially the guy with the beard haha.. I would definitely recommend.. my 3 kids love it. It's the las Vegas one
Meh. It's a place to stay. Most sites are really tiny if I opened a window in my slide, I could have leaned out and touched our neighbor's slide, roads are tight, very few amenities, and picnic tables are few and far between. Gate code after hours or when gate shack is empty only works sometimes. It's convenient to LV attractions, but don't expect much.
Driving to.park the area surrounding this is horrible. A lot of homeless sleeping and living in close proximity to the park. The guard station is boarded up and service was super slow. Questionable people loitering inside the park that were obviously not members. Heard gunfire , site was dirty with lots of dog feces. Had to pick it up and we dont have a dog. We left after 3 hours and will not return best thing the company could do is sell this park.
It’s a decent place but the spots are tight. My only complaint is that I had to move my Jeep anytime my neighbors wanted to move. If you’re not in a big rig this probably won’t be an issue for you. Other than that I got lots of time in the heated pool and hot tub. A little pricey for nightly but it’s the only rv park with what I was looking for; the hot tub.
We are Thousand Trails members…this place was embarrassing! Packed in so tight we could hear the neighbors snoring! We were charged more for 50 amp power and not told when booking. Power did not work and we had to move to another spot . We specifically reserved a pull through spot 90 days notice and when we got there we were told those spots were gone. This place has MANY long term residents and it looks like a getto trailer park!! We have had TT membership for 30 plus years and so ready to get rid of it do to experiences like this!
