The absolute worst. I had a 10:30am appointment for a physical. They brought me back and immediately took me to have blood drawn. I thought that was slightly odd considering it was my first visit there but I went with it. Then the guy drawing my blood says, “Ok thanks bye!” I was like, “Ummm….I have an appointment with Ty for a physical.” Ty overheard this and came out from an office with his laptop. He finally found my appointment after a few minutes and had me wait back in the waiting room while he prepared an exam room. Five minutes into being in the exam room, there’s a knock on the door. It’s another physician who asks me, “Did you just have blood drawn?” to which I answered “Yes.” He then says, “We thought you were another patient. We’re going to have to draw more blood.” I handled it quite well, however I was completely taken aback. I found Ty to be quite unprofessional and the gentleman at the front desk is rude. Price Medical is far superior.
Going here has spoiled me. I rarely wait more than a few minutes. The docs all take time to connect with me when I go there. I feel heard and cared for. The front desk people could use some polish. There is typically an edge to them, as if I'm interrupting them. Still, the overall care is superb!
After seeing Dr. Ward for many years, I was disappointed to learn of his retirement. Having seen Dr. Stearn in the past, I wanted to be transferred to his care. The front desk could hardly care less, dismissed my request and said it would have to be the PA. I explained again that for personal reasons, I would like to see Dr. Stearn. They finally said they would ask him and said they would call me back. After a week of no return call, I called them again. This time they belittled my question replying that I hadn't seen Dr. Stearn all that much and it would have to be the PA. I requested again very directly that I wanted to see Dr. Stearn. They finally replied, nope, not possible, Dr. Stearn is lowering his schedule and getting ready to retire also. Ok so why the dismissive attitude for 2 weeks and just try to force me to see someone that was the person I wanted instead of just giving me that information up front? Not that I really believed the receptionist anyway. Tired of their take it or leave it coldness at the front desk.
I have been a patient at Dupont Circle Physicians Group since 2001. I've never had a bad experience. Dr. Ward, Dr. Stearn and now Dr. Schulman have always been so knowledgeable, up-to-date on the latest medical advances, professional and simply amazing. I have full confidence in the practice and I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff, including the front office staff Ryan in particular has always been helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this practice to you if you're looking for a medical home.
Couldn't be happier with my switch to Dupont physicians group! They are an amazing group of providers and staff who care about their patients. I'm so happy with the care I have received! I'm luck to have them as my primary care physicians! Very caring and knowledgeable! They make you feel comfortable! Highly recommended!
The Practice has been sold. No announcement was received from DuPont Physicians to the Client-Patients. The practice offices are relocating, and NO announcement was distributed. Lastly but far from least, we continue to SUFFER the UNPROFESSIONALISM @Reception, the Front Line Face greeting you at the entrance and or Scheduling your Appointments. I’ll be waiting to see if the Practices Transition, works to my Benefit if not…
I called in to make an appointment and an individual name Joel, who was extremely rude and unprofessional kept putting me on hold and kept asking me to repeat the spelling of my name since he was not paying attention. Upon confronting him about that he simply hung up on me. Not sure why they have such a unprofessional individual working for them.
From great Receptionist Pros to a superb Doctor Dr. Stearn who is down-to-earth and genuine, this place is fantastic. Alas, this Level of professionalism is a rarity: as such, you may be wait-listed for a long time 1year? 3years? More?
I’ve been going here for about 6 years now and I’ve never had any issues. Everyone here is always so nice and helpful. I love Linda and Dr. Ward. I’m now seeing Dr. Schulman and he’s very helpful and listens. A lot of doctors not here will just try to get you in and out but he listens to you when you have concerns. Everyone at the front desk have always made it easy to fit me in for my last minute appointments or even change my time due to work. AWESOME TEAM.
I love this doctor’s office. Although Dr Ward is basically retired, I’m super happy that Jessica is part of this awesome team. I did a study for Linda and she went above and beyond to accommodate me. Literally; she would meet me at the office at 6 in the morning so that I could make it to work on time.
