Last night we hosted a surprise birthday party for my uncle, and they allowed us to book 2 large tables for 18 guests and bring a saxophonist to play in the restaurant. The staff was incredible! Attentive, friendly and super accommodating. Especially Felix! The venue was clean and gorgeous, the ambiance is swanky and upscale , which we loved. The food was very tasty! ; we tried the fried calamari, the wings, garden salad, the skirt steak, the curry shrimp and the smoked salmon pasta. All of which was mouthwatering, steaming hot and delicious. Lastly, the drinks were strong but good. Overall, my family and I had a great time and we recommend others to enjoy this spot too!
Went to Tryp to catch a flight early in the morning and I decided I wanted a bite to eat thankfully they had this restaurant and bar called Dutch’s . The bartender was awesome very helpful and good to talk to, everyone was really chill. The food came out fast which is always nice. He made an amazing drink and the flat bread was delicious wasn’t so filling which I liked so I could eat my steak. The steak was excellent seasoned great and was cooked exactly how I wanted it I was really happy with the service all around I definitely want to come back there
Dutch's Lounge is located inside of the TRYP by Wyndham hotel which makes it very convenient if you are staying there. I came here to meet some girlfriends for dinner and drinks. I felt the staff rushed us a little - I can't put my finger on it but I felt negative energy from the staff. The food was very good and they had a creative spin on tacos. We decided to order one of each type of taco and share with each other so we can try everything. We also ordered a side of the truffle fries. I am not a fan of truffle but I have to say these may have changed my mind. I asked for a spicy margarita - my favorite drink, made extra spicy because no restaurant/bar can ever get it right and this actually had a bit of a kick to it! I was pleasantly surprised. Besides the staff, I had a nice night out.
What an experience! Met some insanely cool regulars and staff that HOOKED ME UP! Wish I could have stayed all night. Big recommendation for anyone in town. Very quick walk from The Station.Food: 5/5
Great atmosphere, good food, and nice waitstaff. The portions were large and delicious.Food: 4/5
We made a 7o’clock reservation. When we arrived we had to wait 30 mins until someone cleaned off a table for us. The food was amazing, beautiful location. Around 8:30 pm and gentlemen came around asking for $10 because the restaurant transitioned to a private party in which we didn’t know. We told him were there to have dinner. We spoke to the manager which was really nice, but the guy came back rushing us to get up, telling other guest we were about to leave, and demanding we pay $ 10 for a jazz show which wasn’t our vibe. We decided to leave in which the manager asked us not to but the damage was done already. We were totally uncomfortable. It would’ve been nice to know beforehand. I would’ve made a reservation for a Saturday night.
This was my first experience at Dutch's. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very nice change from the usual restaurant scenes. There was live jazz, a nice crowd and great service. I had the poached salmon--simply delicious. It was well seasoned and the presentation was good. Their drinks are also great. I had a Jalapeño Margarita and it was a perfect blend. After our meal, my husband and I moved from our seating into the lounge area where we had great conversation with CC Rogers and his family. The night was magical. I plan to return with friends for my birthday in December. Parking: Parking was conveniently located next to the venue, making it easy to get in and out. However, I thought $25. was a bit too much, especially since there is also street parking and no one to valet your car.
The food was amazing, the live jazz was great. My only complaint is they added a 20% tip. We were only 2 people and there was a line on the bill for gratuity. If I had had one more beer, I probably would have left another 20%.
Do not eat here. I made reservations for a Thursday night. Show up only to find out the restaurant is booked out for a private party. They seat us at a make-shift table in the hotel lobby right next to people checking in for their stay. Starting the night off on the right foot. Service was some of the worst I have ever had. Completely ignored. Most likely because all the attention of the wait staff was on serving the private party. Food was decent at best. Mediteraian platter appetizer was amazing. Ordered a medium temperature 8oz filet for entre. Came out raw. Just an overall terrible experience. I would never come back even for a free meal. Wound up spending $100 a person for 2 people and I feel like I was mugged.
We were there last Monday, A nice gentleman by the name of Jesus helped us. The food was good but his service made our lunch even better. Thank you so much! Looking forward to see you again young man! Food: 3/5
