I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Cantamessa and the entire Eagle Rock Animal Hospital staff. I have been going to Dr. Cantamessa for many years, currently with a dog and 2 cats. To say that she is amazing is a gross understatement. I think of my animals as members of my family and that is exactly how they are treated at Eagle Rock Animal Hospital. Everyone from the front desk staff, the technicians, the assistants, and the veterinarians are kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. I could never thank them enough for their tireless dedication to the animals they treat.

Vets and all staff were extremely caring. They explained exactly what was going on with my pet cat. If you care about your pet then look no further this is the place to go. Thank you!

ENTIRE STAFF was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My experience at the first visit with my puppy was more than satisfactory. Dr.Lynn was such a compassionate person. 10/10 !

**Updated to add that we have continued putting our kitten in the care of the VCA and everyone has gone above and beyond caring for Squeaky ‍ We took our 4 month old kitten for her first visit. The vet was very kind and thorough. So far, we are satisfied and found them all to be fair in their services.

Best Vets in NJ! Dr. Lewis is our boy Gabriel's vet. Gabe is a Cane Corso and seemed to scare the dickens out of most vets as soon as they set eyes on him. This would, in turn, scare the dog?! Very unprofessional. Doc Lewis is calm, cool and affectionate with Gabe... and genuinely cares for him. What more could you ask for... and the kid loves to go see him!

Went in for a feline check up. Everyone was pleasant. They did the blood and urine work and my cat didn't seem too distressed. They told me I could call back in a few days for results. But they called a day earlier to let me know, which is great service. Would use them again.

I took my hamster to the VCA Eagle Rock Animal Hospital after she started having trouble with her back legs. She was seen by Dr. Cantamessa, who was so kind and friendly. My hamster’s first visit to a vet was very stressful for her, but Dr. Cantamessa is clearly very good at handling small pets. She gave my hammie a full check up and provided medicine that was helpful in her getting better. A couple of weeks after the visit I received a phone call and it was Dr. Cantamessa checking up on my hamster! The level of care that Dr. Cantamessa and her team provide is unparalleled. If you have a pet in need, I highly recommend the VCA Eagle Rock Animal Hospital, it’s worth it!

Expensive and heartless. If you have pets with heart disease or warning signs they will lead your pet to an early grave.

Very friendly staff, thanks to the worker from Columbus. Made me feel comfortable and was very nice to my dog!
