Eaglenest Bed & Breakfast

We stayed overnight at Eaglenest and had the most wonderful experience! Jim and Julie were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was cozy and lovely and we were welcomed with homemade apple crisp. We stayed in the Autumn Room which has its own entrance, patio (with a fire pit) and parking space. The room itself has a gas fireplace which was perfect for the cool evening and morning in Julian. We let Jim know we were going to use the hot tub after dinner and he made sure it was warmed up and ready to go when we returned to Eaglenest after dinner. Breakfast in the morning was incredible! We had pancakes with whipped cream and fruit compote (all homemade!), eggs, sausages, fruit and muffins! And of course, coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Jim and Julie made us feel like family and were so gracious through our entire stay! If you're looking for a place to stay in Julian, I promise you will be thrilled with Eaglenest Bed and Breakfast!

Stay here if you want to be PAMPERED. We are hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and decided to stay in Julian to resupply and rest our sore feet. Jim and Julie were absolutely incredible. We felt like we were home. Delicious home cooked breakfast, yummy cookies and snacks, adorable golden retrievers roaming about, and the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. We rested and recuperated and are ready to tackle the trail again! 5 Stars.

If you are looking for a relaxing time and amazing breakfast then you need to stay at the Eaglenest B&B in Julian. Julie and Jim are so wonderful and they make you feel like either family or old friends! They have beautiful golden retrievers that will welcome you each morning but they know their place and will not bug you or beg for food nor get in your way,they just want to say "Good Morning" to you (so sweet). The host, Julie is like an angel on earth, so caring,sweet,so very sincere and will make you feel so welcome and cared for. Jim, the other host is a great cook,so warm and so very caring as well,he will make sure your fireplace is ready and all set up for the evening fire (there is a wood burning fireplace in the Winter Room, our favorite)....what a team! We have been coming to the Eaglenest for over 8 years and we still get excited about our next visit. Julie will make sure you have dinner reservation if you request it, or perhaps a horse carriage ride and will request the carriage to actually come to the B&B to pick you up (I felt like Cinderella!!). So again, if you are looking for an experience that you will never forget you will have to make plans to visit Eagenest Bed & Breakfast, I can almost guarantee you will not be disappointed but only have wonderful memories to share with others.

Fantastic experience! Jim and Julie are fabulous innkeepers! Clean and comfortable room, amazing breakfast. Jim makes an apple crisp that is truly amazing! Jim and Julie go out of their way to make you feel like family. Enjoyed the hot tub and the 5 golden retrievers were a pleasant bonus.

The Eaglenest B&B is the best place to stay in Julian. Julie and Jim are amazing hosts. This was our second stay at the eaglenest and it was just as amazing as the first time. We look forward to next time.
