I needed a custom built exterior door frame because my walls were built with 2x6’s. I contacted Earthwoods and they were very helpful and completed the building of a door frame in a timely manor.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Be bought two doors and in just 5 years, they are falling apart. Our front door we converted from a double door to a single with two side panels. They came out and measured for the doors and were going to cutom fit them because our rough opening is 1 inch wider than normal because of the double doors. They didn't customize anyting. The door they installed is a regular size door that never fit from day one. The door is one inch too narrow, so the contractor tried to fill it in, but the gap between the door and the frame was about 1/.2 to 3/4 of an inch and the door would never latch. We had to use the deadbolt for years. The "contractor" they used was apparently a drunk who would leave town for a week or more on drinking binges, so we couldn't get him back out to try and fix the door, but there was no way to fix it because it wasn't the right size. We spoke to the owner on several occasions, and he supposedly had a new contractor, but he wanted us to pay $100 for the guy to come out and look at the door plus any labor he would charge to fix it. The owner did not feel he was responsible for the shoddy work of his contractor and would not pay to fix the problem. Now we are hiring a reputable company to replace this door. I'm sure we will pay a lot more than we did with this company as they were the lowest bid we got, and we sure understand why that is now. WARNING!WANRING! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
