Eastern Market Metro Station

It was great for my granddaughter. I have to try everything to keep her amused. She has so much energy of course at the age of 4. And it's so much better than having her sitting stuck on the tablet or I phone. Plus we enjoy the sun I just wish the water fountains work and people would respect them for the purpose they are intended. Boy life has changed so much since the time I grew up. I really don't like it. No respect for common things that are good for us to have. That's it. Times have truly changed to me for the worst.

Great train station, very clean but absolutely no maps on the platform!!!! What a miserable logistical nightmare for visitors/tourist in your city!

Was heading to Eastern Market station Friday, Feb. 4. about 1:30. When the train pulled into Capital South station, the driver suddenly announced there wouldn't be any stops at Eastern Market station "due to covid." Tried to walk to Eastern Market, but the rain was intense and I got thoroughly soaked. I've been riding Metro for four decades and it sucks more every day. What a bunch of incompetent nitwits.

When exiting the Metro to use the street elevator I have to pass this wall with Grotesque stuff coming out of it. This needs to be cleaned! I go to the Trader Joe's and Medstar Health at Eastern Market and what I dread is walking on the sidewalks here. The bricks are uneven, loose, or missing. I must watch my steps, if I don't want to fall. The area around the Metro Station has been improved with new buildings but the sidewalks needs improving. So be warned!

First time ride on train with my 2 friends bring me home safe I thanks and great fast train...

Saw a guy overdose and go unconscious here, multiple police officers on the scene just stood above him and watched him die instead of trying to provide Narcan or transport him to a hospital or anything. The park provides a breath of fresh air in the busy city, though.

I really liked the surrounding park near Barracks Row, where you can have lunch and enjoy the weather.

I ride the metro everyday... Sometimes it's on time. It's always slow. Sometimes people die of smoke inhalation, sometimes the lights go out and your stuck in a dark tunnel with no service for hours and it always cost over 100 bucks a weeks to ride :

Busy station, not very self explaining, I was escorted by a friend otherwise its a bit difficult to find the right connection. The architecture is quite unique like no other metro station in Europe.

Very convenient location if you are going to Eastern market or Capitol Hill. The station is clean and metro staff is helpful.
