Came here for brunch with my roommate and it was a cute lil spot and definitely very popular on the weekends. They have a lot to choose from and I love the Mediterranean inspired sections of the menu. They also do a bottomless $25 mimosas deal BUT you have to purchase one of the listed platters for it to be applicable. Had a great time and it was lovely service!!
Been there twice with my six year old for breakfast after his doctor's appointment at Mount sinai. One thing he always clean his plate to my surprise. The two menu's i tried was the Avocado toast and egg plater and Effys breakfast delicious . Highly recommended. My son always go for pancakes with hot chocolate.
walked in, to where we had to flag down a server to get a table. we were told to grab menus and sit outside, but there were no tables available. we waited for people to leave, and then stood next to a table for almost 20 minutes while waiting for it to be cleaned. we then watched as a server cleaned the table that had JUST left next to us, and made direct eye contact with us. after asking her to clean off our table, we finally sat, along with the bottle of water that had been left on the table from the previous customers. no silverware, no glasses. after waiting 10 minutes, we finally got a drink order in, a water and a coffee. after waiting for 20 minutes we assumed it just wasn’t coming, and after almost an hour of wasted time, we walked inside and gave our menus back. the server did not seem to be shocked or saddened that we were leaving, and it looked as if she had never seen us in her life. never returning
It's a beautiful restaurant with nice staff. The food was okay, I didn't hate it but I won't crave it either. the service was good but sllllooowww! The price was reasonable.Food: 4/5

Very good quality food for a pretty good value, especially the weekend breakfast special. In general, everything that I've had has been pretty good from the omelette, breakfast sandwich, pancakes and the shakshuka. The only thing that was mediocre was actually the coffee. Otherwise, I like the food, service and overall comfortable experience that I have had every time I've been there. Oh, and if you pay in cash, they will give you a discount.
Wonderful little place for some brunch. Service was really friendly. For those looking for a Kosher restuarant - this place is NOT kosher.Food: 5/5
Lovely little restaurant on the upper east side. Food was good and above expectations. Service was good. Definitely recommend.
Truly a delicious delightful meal and the waitress was SPECTACULAR. The lentil soup was magnificent...and I know I will spell it wrong. ..Shasdkusa was amazing. 2 eggs in a tomato sauce cooked with Excellent chopped vegetables .5 stars 9 stars
What a great day to start with Mediterranean breakfast! Great quality, decent price, well-pleased stomach. Shakshuka has a nice savory taste if you like tomato sauce with a gentle chilli kick to it. Effy's bfast comes with eggs, tuna, chopped salad and a variety of dips for your pita. I'm not a bfast person but this was a nice surprise and I will be back for sure.
