So we have been coming here for over a year on the weekends for breakfast. They were quite good a year ago and about 8 months ago there was massive turn over. Everyone was new and even the new people were inconsistent. So service went down and the true attitudes of customers increased as some people became downright rude to the staff. There has been a tremendous effort to turn things around and the staff has become more consistent and confident in the make processes. I am hopeful that they will return to a 4 star establishment in the near future... They are doing the right things to get there! So give them a chance and encourage people to come to help them grow. Great establishments are built on a partnership between the staff and customers...
This was a very disappointing experience today. The cashier had her head in the clouds then proceeded to give the two guys working in the kitchen a very hard time. I believe they were under staffed so she took her frustration out in her coworkers. The guys making the food were not on the top of their game, both our sandwiches were missing smear, and other items. I didn't even bother trying to get the smear after having to go back and have chicken put on my sandwich. It doesn't matter how under staffed you are or how frustrated you may be, you're not supposed to act that way in front of customers. Take it to the back. Slow down. Make things correctly. Take a deep breath. Let customer's know you're under staffed and their patience is appreciated.
They always have the friendliest staff and great service. However, the 4/5 is because my coffee is never made correctly and they are usually out of items. It was mentioned that this is their slow season and they don't order everything like they used to. Again - amazing people work there.
This visit was very disappointing. I came here on Saturday morning for two coffees and a bagel. The bagel was ready very quickly, which was nice, but unfortunately the bag had cream cheese all over it. Fortunately, we noticed it and wiped it off but if I had been on my way to work and got cream cheese on my clothes I would be livid. Then, we waited over 10 minutes for two coffees, which I find unacceptable when we were the only customers waiting. While we were waiting for our coffees, we happened to overhear the employees talking badly about other customers who had come in, which is extremely unprofessional. Separately, when another customer came up and asked for a mango iced tea refill, the employee didn’t know which tea was the mango iced tea. Eventually we received our coffee, which was subpar. The bagel also did not taste fresh at all. Overall, it was an extremely unprofessional, frustrating and annoying experience. Needless to say, I will be spending my money at Starbucks or Caribou from now on.
I unfortunately have never had a take out order as ordered. My current sandwich was ordered with no egg on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. There is a runny egg on it, a doughy bagel and a grey piece of soggy chicken. I would highly advise corporate to secret shop this store. They need help. More help than the 5+employees behind the counter.
im sorry but I had to write a review for this place. ive been a regular for years. and people treat the employees horrible. her review: "HOW THE HECK DO YOU RUN OUT OF COFFEE AND BAGELS? You literally serve only those TWO things. Last time, they had run out of salmon, and the protein bagel. Then...NO COFFEE. This makes no sense, considering we wait forever in line." probably came in way too late lady! they wont make special beagles and coffee for you. get up early and stop being lazy. keep up the good work everyone
Slowest Einstein's ever! We waited 30 mins for 2 bagels and a coffee. The first coffee came out and tasted horrible, they re made it, but we shouldn't have to deal with that. Everyone else in the shop was also irritated. And to top it off someone came in 20 mins into us waiting and got their food BEFORE us. It should be a much more streamlined operation with 6 people working. Have some eggs ready to go when you know it's going to be a busy time Sunday brunch time..... My food was cold by the time we got it because they waited so long to make my partner's. Never going back. This isn't the first time it has happened, either. You need new management
It took too long for any of the employees to acknowledge I was there I was the only customer near the register in front of at least 5 employees. Once I ordered, the employees proceeded to discuss that the smoothie I ordered was disgusting saying something like "well, did you tell her not to get it [because it's terrible]?" I get it, I work in food service too.. but that's just not an appropriate way to act around customers.
Very displeased with the service I received today 8/17/19 around 1pm. I came here once a few months back for the first time and the food was amazing, everything tasted so good, i got amazing service. TODAY I made the mistake of going on my lunch and not checking my to go order when I left. My smoothie was great. I ordered two meals with chips, didnt get ANY chips; bought a cookie, didnt get a cookie; And of course I dont eat pork for religious reasons and I ask for no bacon on one of my sandwiches and what do i get???? Bacon. I tried calling the store from the number google provided and it left me on ring for 5min and eventually hung up. I even left a tip in their tip jar. Never eatting here again. I highly recommend going to Jason's deli or checking out whole foods instead.
Very rude and confrontational cashier. I should have written his name. We asked for our bagels to be toasted, he said they were too busy to do that, almost forced the untoasted bagel. There were only two people on the line by the way, besides us, that is. And we begged, they got more angrier because we asked. We had to leave the place with out using any service. Oh no i forgot , we had already paid for our bagel and coffee the guy didn’t want to give us our money back. It was horrible experience. Never again am I setting foot there. Shame!
