El Buda Latin Asian Restaurant

We have been to El Buda twice. Originally we went during opening week. At that time the service was poor and several menu items were unavailable. However, the food that we did order was delicious. Still being interested in the overall fusion aspect, we decided to give this restaurant another chance. We experienced similar confusion among servers, including needing to move our table, incorrect items on the bill, and an item being unavailable to order. The menu also seems to have been reduced since opening, which is fine, however, it makes it difficult if you do not eat particular types of meat. Nevertheless, some of the staff were quite helpful and polite. Above all the concept and food was consistently good.

Chef went out of his way to assist with dietary restriction challenge and cooked up a unique version of a dish. Outstanding service and exceptional food! Thanks for taking such great care of us.

Food/experience/ambiance was excellent. Nice fusion of Latin and Asian culture/food. They have a downstairs converted wine cellar that they use for additional dining space and specific art events on Weds night worth checking out.

Came here for lunch, and it was very quiet. But, the service was amazing. Victor helped me out. While the prices had me second guessing it as a lunch spot for work, I was overwhelmed by the delicious food. Easily worth the money. I will be a back!

We went for an early dinner prior to going to Dr. Phillips for a show. Recommended to us and so glad we tried this new downtown restaurant. Amazing food! We shared many of the dishes recommended by our waiter, who was most attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The pork sweet plantain dumplings and calamari were scrumptious. Next, we had the ho fun churassco and beef short ribs. Phenomenal! The beef short ribs were the most tender ever experienced. Will definitely return to try more of the dishes. Our waiter made sure the food came quickly because we had a show to go to and everyone was most friendly and attentive. Very glad to finally have an excellent fusion restaurant downtown. You will not be disappointed in the food or service!
