El Jalapeno Mexican Restaurant

This place is seriously amazing!! Best staff, very attentive to their customers. They even have awesome specials on their drinks, best margaritas in area! Don't be afraid by the packed parking lot, stop in and try this place out. They've recently upgraded a few items! Love El Jalapeno!

Fantastic little good place with excellent tacos al pastor. Authentic Mexican food with great service.

I had the beef enchiladas, and they were really good. Our waitress was quick and friendly too. Never let our chip basket get empty, and we were hungry, so she filled it twice! Thank you for a good lunch experience.

Great place, great food and excellent customer service!!! My Wife and I ate here in October of 2018 for dinner. We were just looking to try some place new to us. Victoria, our server, was terrific!!! The food was authentic!!! I don’t drink but my Wife likes an adult beverage and she said that the seasonal margarita drinks were spot on and delicious!!! Nice interior and very family friendly!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone!!!

Don’t waste your time eating at this place unless you are interested in overly priced, not so fresh food and facilities that are below average. I can only imagine what their kitchen looks like. This building has been in this area more than forty years and probably deserves a make over. I believe this place should re-evaluate their surrounding and make some adjustments according to the community they serve. God help this place become a better establishment.

Good, authentic Mexican food. The beef fajitas were like perfectly seasoned, tender, steak. I've taken clients and new hires here several times and they've given rave reviews. Will go here again and again.

Decent place to go for authentic Mexican. I've tried a number of items off of the menu, and while none of them have disappointed me, none of them have wowed me either. The salsa is very mild here, so if you're looking for some heat, this might not be the place for you. I've heard rave reviews on the beef stew here but I've yet to try it. Parking seems to be plentiful but due to the neighborhood, make sure you don't leave any valuables out in plain view. For the price, it's a decent lunch if you're in the area and want some authentic Mexican.

Very colorful, warm place. Food was delicious. Portion sizes are large. Horchata was the best I've ever had! Waitress was friendly and fortunately spoke English, although I could also order in Spanish. Lots of parking. Lots of tables and seating. Can easily move tables together for a large party.

Its been 3 yrs since the last time we ate here due to the horrible service not to mention the servers acting prejudice towards my white friends. Today it was a totally different experience, the new servers were very nice and attentive to our needs. I will give this place another chance, hopefully they can keep up the good service.

All I can say is BAD, BAD, BAD! Service was BAD! Food Bad && way way over priced! My husband & I got there around 9:40pm, at no point in time did they let us know they were closing early 10pm. Took our order & right after serving us they start to dismiss staff, completely turned off the music. We had to scarf down our food since they were basically kicking us out. When there was still 4 others families around. Who does that to PAYING CUSTOMERS! But no worries will NEVER GO BACK & NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Might have gotten those $48!!!!!!. But never again.
