Excellence is service. Delicious food and drink. Reasonable prices for drinks and food. You will find this restaurant right out in front of the Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport. Worth the 2 minute walk. Treat yourself to cheap Margaritas, wine, beer, and cocktails. Don't pay the hotel restaurant and bar prices!

Very nice staff who were very accommodating to our large party. Food came out hot and fast. Very very good. Allowed me to sub out rice for salad.

Mexican just as you’d expect. Nothing fancy, extraordinary or special. Not bad. The servers are friendly and full of smiles! Take your family, go and enjoy!

Great service by our server, Daisy. Frozen mango margarita was given good rating by those that ordered. Gold, on the rocks, margarita was excellent! Not made with a margarita mix, like most chain Mexican restaurants. Specialty tacos of el pastor recommended and awesome with bits of pineapple and el lengua hit the spot. Enchiladas with a creama sauce with sour cream was also given a great thumbs up! If in the area again would definitely stop back by for another delicious meal!! All at our table was satisfied with their meal.

From the chips and salsa,tamales, to the burritos everything was impeccable. Our food was served piping hot and in a timely fashion we were delighted with the service that we had today. Highly recommend to stop at El Nopal! They even serve lunch on Saturday till three.

We were a pretty large party 17 and they were happy to accommodate us. Great service and food. Will definitely return!

Our favorite El Nopal location for sure! The staff is awesome and accommodating. On their 10th anniversary, we even received a t-shirt and pint class from the owner. That may mean we frequent this location a little too much each week, but that’s okay!

It's our favorite Mexican Place in Louisville. We eat there on an average at least once a week. Great service. Have several favorites on the menu. Wish they would drop the masks for Wait staff so I could see the smiles.

This restaurant knows what it wants to be and doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. It’s a solid choice for American/Mexican food.

First got here, it was great we got seated right away. Then the waiter came and asked us our drinks and scan the QR to eat. After he came back to take our order we were asking for things and one of the people I was with asked for a taco salad shell only and jalapeños and simply said no I’m not doing that. For one that’s rude how he said it. I understand if you can’t do it but he was rude. Then for my order me and someone else asked for extra queso on our pollo con arroz and then once we got it, it was definitely not extra queso. The man tried to sail it was on top. As you’ll see in the 2 pictures one is extra queso and one is not. The assistant manager comes and talks to me and brings the extra queso and tells me to hurry and pour it on my food. Like excuse me, do not rush me to get queso or eat my food. Then we asked to speak to a manager and they kept talking over us. Finally they let us finish what we were saying. He said that they don’t like to interfere with the kitchen on what they do and they told us that they were sorry and that he’ll have a talk with the server. But the way they acted towards us was not right. Will not be going back to this location.
