Really delicious food and fast service. I ordered 2 veggie tacos and 2 Cuban vegan tacos! Highly recommend the Cuban vegan tacos. They were so good! Will definitely come back next time I’m in Houston!

Prices have,of course,gone up. $10 for the Ranchero plate. Potato could have been better, but the rest of the food was good. Beans are awesome, some of the best I've ever had. Bacon tastes like it's a higher quality cut. Tortilla kinda cold. Eggs and salsa perfect. Nice people inside. I'll try the coffee next time.

Love this place! I come here a few times a month and always get great service and wonderful food. My favorite is the Havana plate! Delicious slow cooked pork with peppers, onion and rice and beans. Yummm! I also get the chicken fajitas plate which is good as well.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes

The Ropa Vieja is by far my favorite taco here. Pairs well with their agüita de melon yummm The tortilla soup is also delicious. Great combination of Mexican & Cuban cuisine.

Dine in service order before 9 employee start to clean the dining room then swept under my feet and kids just rude and mopped floor before we walked out did not put any wet floor signs. Shrimp had not been devein smh eww.

Horrible, horrible, I just order this place via Favor and tell me why I received chicken broth instead of a chicken soup. Such a disappointment after hearing all this good thing about El Rey, they obviously could careless about their service and food, they pretty much sold me what looks like dirty water , there's more cheese in the bottom of the container than anything flooding in it...

Their Ice Mulata is magnificent!! I'm not a coffee drinker but their Ice Mulata is to die for . Double shot espresso with horichata . Everything on thier menu is great and this location's staff is super friendly. Breakfast tacos Ceviche salad Grilled Salamon salad Ropa Veja Summer plate

I’ve had better. Texas got some bomb tacos but i don’t like theirs at all. Chicken on the tacos are too big. Meat don’t taste seasoned. Beans watery. Rice was alright but Honestly, We Won’t be going here again.

I really love this place. Never disappoints. I love to get their hot borracho beans. I love that they serve hot fresh food right through the drive thru! That's hard to find these days. The iced teas are great - strawberry guava was perfectly made and refreshing. My husband was stealing my drink lol. My only critique is they were stingy with the salsa. Next time I'll buy the chips and salsa basket. The chips and salsa basket is pricey but the salsa is tasty and worth it and it's usually a good amount of salsa.

Ordered the Fajita Nachos they would have been good but the nachos didn't have enough cheese they were pretty dry. I ate the top part that did have cheese and toppings and had to throw the other half away. If you order nachos make sure they have enough cheese.Food: 1/5
