The salsa is worth the trip here. For breakfast, huevos rancheros is the measuring stick for a good breakfast spot. And when I saw they have carne guisada as an option, I had to try it. All the flavors were great, but I did feel the portions were small. Definitely want to try lunch one day.
Ordered Fajita enchiladas! Rice and beans ok Enchiladas not satisfied ! This was not fajita meat seem like stew meat there was no cheese or spices or gravy inside the enchiladas! Poor quality! Will not order here ever again ! Chips were stale ! Very disappointed I use to come here several years ago the quality of food has declined ! They hardly give You any guacamole salad for 1.95 bad lunch decision today ! Waste of money !
The homemade Lemonade is the best. Very small space but we made the beat of it. Grandson gave it a up
Overall I would say this is a ok place to get some tacos. The carne guisada was really good. Fajita was a lil dry. For some odd reason the salsa had a sweet flavor to it so didn't really like or eat it. The waitress seemed kinda rude and didn't want to wait on us. She didn't really give us time to actually go over the whole menu. The restrooms were really tiny and dirty and didn't even close properly and couldn't even lock the door. I would say if you do go here maybe take it to go so you can actually enjoy it.
We ate there today and the service and food was great. The only thing that ruined our whole experience, was the urine smell coming from the restroom. It was nauseating. It's a shame that they would not do a better job of restroom sanitizing. It was a neat establishment, with good food and great wait staff, but that nauseous smell would keep me from wanting to return. I smelled it when I walked in the front door, so it wasn't like it was contained to the restroom. I wasn't sure if it was just mold or a sewer smell, but I confirmed what it was, when I went to wash my hands. I hope they correct this before I try them one more time.
Have been driving by this place daily for years. Sign says open since 1973. Figure they must be doing something right. Stopped in for a quick lunch running errands. The staff is really friendly. The food is average on-frills Tex-mex. processed cheese in the enchiladas. The chips and salsa were good. Not bad. Nothing special.
Stopped in for a quick bite. First time there, The people were very nice and friendly, food was great, service was very fast. Will definitely stop in again if we're near by.Food: 5/5
Classic Tex-Mex, it's what you would expect from a family operated Tex-Mex cafe. I have driven by for Ges but, as most days they close at 3 PM, I have never visited today, I stopped in great service and the restaurant is immaculate.there is ample parking COVID precautions. The food The vegan choice is guacamole tostadas which were generously portioned and tasty the prices are reasonable. A good choice for Tex-Mex in the height’s .
There are so many wonderful Mexican restaurants in the area. This is unfortunately not one of them. The refried beans are practically just water with rehydrated bean flakes, the side of tortillas were so rubbery it was comical how long it took to cut through it, and both meals we ordered were hecka bland. We ordered delivery so I cannot comment on whatever charm restaurant provides as some reviewers have noted the experience being nice. Instead, our experience was just watery breakfast slop on top of a tortilla. Either way I don’t think I will be dining in anytime soon unless I forget about writing this review. I seriously debated writing a review at all but the high rating at this establishment compelled me to at least provide an account solely based on the food which can best be described as “edible”. “4 star” was the furthest thing from my mind. However my belly required sustenance and chose to ignore the questionable presentation and general lack of flavor, and it wasn’t horrifying at least, so uhh yea… 2 stars.
Ordered the Fajitas Asada Plate with corn tortillas and a coke about 1:45pm. It was very good and I will return in the future.
