Story

El Sombrero established in 1984 First owned by Jose Suriel. In 1992 was bought by Rogelio Diaz (chico) and Palmenio Fabian bother-in-laws who became business partners. It's been family owned ever since, I will explain all the people that work here and who have hopefully touched your hearts and make you always want to come back. My Mother Josefin who now works in the mornings many people call her mom. Gina I call her the dinosaur of sombrero worked here since it opened. She might not be blood related but she is definitely one of our family members. Diana Placenia (married to palmenio) people have always said she is very serious and quiet but once you get to know her very sweet and friendly. Stephanie (palma daughter) the prettiest face of sombrero i been working with her for about 10 years now the one of the funniest waitress ever. Now a little about me Vanessa (daughter of chico and josefine) I have 14 years here this establishment was known for its "cheap food and drinks" but to me this place is where everyone can come in and feel like their home. I grew up here and its very sad to see this place close. I met wonderful people from around the world I would never forget the amazing time, experience, and love i have for my costumers and El Sombrero
