We had a fantastic meal at this little Salvadoran establishment. Dine-in is available during the pandemic, with about 5 or 6 tables inside. We ordered the tacos lunch special, with ample tasty street steak tacos, and the beans and rice were also excellent. Their chicken burrito is huge, and has very fresh ingredients. Everything is made fresh to order. We also got a shrimp pupusa, just to try it out, and it came with a nice little slaw salad. Both the green and red salsas were excellent, with deep delicious flavors. Eduardo was very kind to us, and told us all about the place. No soda fountain, canned and bottled drinks only. Clean interior, great food, great service, we will be back! Features: The employees who deal with customers are wearing masks. Very clean inside.
El Steak Burrito on the surface may seem like a simple place in an unsuspecting area, but this Mexican food is very literally the best I have ever had anywhere that I've traveled in the world. I've been all over Mexico, and all over South America, and I absolutely love burritos. I've had literally thousands at hundreds of different restaurants over the years, none come close to being as good as this place. The burrito is so perfectly seasoned, and perfectly balanced. The pico de gallo is some of the best I've ever had. Their tacos are incredible and the guacamole is next level. I went into the kitchen to talk to the chef and it's an older lady who came as an immigrant from Central America, and to me that's a beautiful story. There is no question about it in my mind, this is the single best place to get tacos and burritos in America, it's literally so good that whenever I drive through Las Vegas I make this my main stop. Myself, my wife, and my sister now all measure burritos and tacos by the ones made here. It's the golden standard. Parking: Easy parking out front, it's in a strip mall.
I have been going to this place for their pupusas and horchata for over 10+ years. I refuse to go anywhere for pupusas and horchata. The horchata itself is award winning, it isn't from a fountain, they actually make it there with milk so it's thick and creamy - hands down the best I have ever had. The owner has known me since I was a teen and always ask how I am doing - the staff is always welcoming and friendly. It's a small place but it is clean and quiet and a comfortable place to come have something to eat. Definitely my favorite spot for Salvadorian food.
Staff was very kind! The carne asada breakfast burrito was the best thing here, was slightly dry but they provide plenty of sauce. At $7 for the burrito, it’s a decent spot to grab a breakfast burrito. Note that wait times can take a while, so call in in advance if you’re doing Togo.
First and last visit .. tamales had potatoes inside were super soft and moist the husky was not regular corn husk was green like seaweed .. should of none better to stop at a MEXICAN restaurant in the middle of CHINA TOWN
So happy my sons and I found this hidden gem. The food is so flavorful and great quality. The owner is super sweet. For the review before me… Mexican and Salvadoran food is different. It would help if you knew the difference before reviewing. Ps… try the steak and potato burrito! The pupusas are great too!
The staff here is great, the service is great, we stopped by to pick up an order and took it home to enjoy. The portions here are small, as you will see in the following pics, for the price, portions should be a little larger, people will say it's due to pandemic pricing on beef, but they were small portions before the pandemic. The food tastes good but as I've learned being here in Las Vegas there is a ton of salt used, enjoy the food though, it's great.
I'm sorry but this was one of the worst burritos I have ever had! Ordered the "carne asada burrito" it was basically All rice! I ordered a carne asada burrito, not a "rice burrito" and for the price I was very disappointed. There was a small layer of meat 1/4" or less layer and a small thin layer of beans and then the rest was rice. I will never go there again.
The steak was so flavorful. Very nicely chopped and seared to be crispy on the edges. The tortilla is freshly cooked and the guacamole and pico de gallo is so fresh. The salsa is delicious as well to add extra spice. I would come back again and again. My fiance got a wet steak burrito, which was also the best I've tasted. The steak was delicious, the rice is seasoned mexican fried rice, and the red sauce is delicious. I was dipping the chips in it. Definitely recommend for some of the best Mexican food around!
It was short and sweet. I ordered, it came out. I took it to my hotel. It was delicious. The fellow I ordered from was very nice. It wasn’t busy and only 1 other customer came in. I don’t know what he does to the meat in that burrito, but it’s delicious. Added sour cream and cheese, some salsa, and some lime juice. I love the prices here, by the way. $8 for a steak burrito at a place called “El Steak Burrito” it was a wise choice. Don’t let The strip mall worry you, it’s all good. Besides it’s all strip malls on this stretch of road. I’m coming back with friends next time.
