Great Tacos, great atmosphere. These tacos were crafted to be masterpieces. Each taco had amazing flavor. My friend had the street corn and raved over and over again about the flavor. You should try it.
Taco Luchador was a little hard to find as you park in this strip mall and have to walk around front. There were only a few people there on the patio and no one inside. Not a good sign???? But I am happy to say that I was not disappointed at all. As a Native Southern Californian transplanted to Kentucky, I am always looking for good Mexican food. These tacos do not disappoint. I got the Tinga chicken, Barbacoa beef and Cochinita Pibil pork tacos. They all had great flavor. The salsas are all really good as well. I also had their sweet potato fries which were also amazing. Were the tacos overpriced? Well, when you consider that a Gordita Crunch Taco at Taco Bell is around $4, I'd say these tacos are reasonably priced and really no comparison needed.
This food is delicious. Ordered the Nacho bowl and the flavors are So good. Love the pickled red onions with the chicken. Only complaint is for the price I expected much larger portion. First time here and would like to try other selections . Will return with lower expectations and more in my wallet. Parking: Park in rear of building and enter in back or walk around to front door that faces the street. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs easy access from parking lot.
Tinga and mole tacos were fantastic!! The flavors from everything I've ever tried here are phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful food that leaves you full but wanting more. Definitely will be back.
Not spacious. Food, delicious! Margaritas, a bit tart, glad I opted for the added shot. Customer service, second to none! Deston went out of his way in a stressful situation to accommodate my wife and I. What ever they pay him, it isn't enough. Tacos are great. Tortas are impeccable! Prices, well, you know. Everything is hyper inflated now so. Would I go back? Yup! Worth it!
Tacos are decent and it’s a really cute place! Margaritas are strong and the staff is nice too. It’s just not as reasonably priced as some of the other taco places in Louisville. That’s the only thing that holds me backRecommended dishesChips and White Queso, Torta Tinga
Manager taking our order was completely rude. We asked her what came on a chicken breast sandwich, and she smirked at us like we should have already known that answer no reason to treat customers like that. Completely rude and did not want to answer any questions simply wanted us to place an order without asking any questions at all. Made us feel like that we were a bother to her because we were there to eat.
Super nice outdoor dining area and love the sauces! The tacos are not double tortilla’d though so a bit messy but very flavorful! Will come back on a warmer day for sure!
This place is magical. They marry the perfect flavors together in every dish that makes mouths water and eyes goggle. My personal favorite is, what I can only call, the best fish taco in the city. But, even so, I have never had anything off their menu that I didn't like. If you want amazing tacos etc., look no further than El Taco Luchador!
My review is based on recent pricing changes. My friend and I have been having lunch here once a week for over a year. We always order the same thing, nacho bowls and two soda drinks. The total with tax always comes to $33-34, which is already overpriced for nachos. Last week the price increased to $43 - for two nacho bowls and two drinks. Mind you, I dont even get the majority of the veggie toppings, only the guac and pico. I asked why the change, since I know the price to always be the same, and apparently cost of certain ingredients has gone up she mentioned for ex., the veggies I dont get. I can understand that, everything has gone up, but I dont believe that justifies raising the cost an entire $9-10 dollars. We enjoy eating here, and will continue to because the place is in very close proximity to my friend's job, but I hope they take into consideration that their pricing is ridiculous.
